Tuesday Night Both Teams to Score 5-fold

Another set of midweek fixtures and we're hoping that there will be goals and entertainment a-plenty. The Championship, League 1 and League 2 have been scoured to find the likeliest matches to produce goals. Here's hoping we see another Carlisle v Cambridge…

Blackburn v Cardiff

Cardiff have been a bit of an enigma so far. Many expected Russell Slade wouldn't see the season out in South Wales, but his team have a fighting spirit about them. They came back from 2-0 down to QPR and Craig Noone scored a wonder goal against Fulham on the opening weekend. There's no doubt they have some talented players and a decent midfield, but they seem a little light up front. I won't let that put us off though, because Blackburn have conceded 5 goals in 3 games so far. Rovers might not be as strong this season and they've lost Rudy Gestede to Villa and Jordan Rhodes to injury, but they should get on the scoresheet here.

Ipswich v Burnley

Two teams who have 100% success rate in Both Teams to Score in League games thus far. Ipswich were pegged back to 2-2 on the opening day of the season and then got their first 3 points of the season against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend. Burnely have drawn 1-1 and 2-2 thus far and looked very open at the back against Birmingham. They do have goals in them also, plenty of strikers to choose from. Sordell, Vokes, Jutkiewicz, Long & Ashley Barnes all vying for places up front and the competition should create goals.

Bradford v Gillingham

Bradford haven't had the start to the season they would have liked, but there is no doubt things will improve. The fact they struggled to get past in York in the League Cup should set alarm bells ringing, but it was a goal-fest and both teams also scored at the weekend. Gillingham have been brilliant this season, with Bradley Dack shining. They have many players to come back into the team, not least Cody McDonald and he always gets goals. Justin Edinburgh is a telented manager, as he displayed with Newport County and his sides play decent football.

Swindon v Port Vale

It looks like another talented prospect might leave the County Ground this week as Nathan Byrne's hattrick on the opening day did Swindon's chances of maintaining his services no good. Burnley look like the club to bid for him, but he might play here and if he does, he could get on the scoresheet. Swindon came from 2-0 down against Bury at the weekend and appear to be one of the more entertaining clubs in the division. Port Vale are hard to beat. so far they've drawn 1-1 and 0-0 and it won't be an easy match for the home side. Another score draw could be in the offing.

AFC Wimbledon v Cambridge

Taking another chance on Cambridge doing the business in this market. Their 4-4 draw at Carlisle was incredible and it showed they can't defend! They have an abundance of talented strikers and Luke Berry impressed and got his first goal at the weekend. AFC Wimbledon got their first points at the weekend and the ever popular Akinfenwa got on the scoresheet. This one should see both sides scoring.
