LIVORNO to draw with TORINO
Livorno invite Torino to the Stadio Aermando Picchi on Wednesday in hope of renovating their torrid form this season in the Serie A. Livorno have failed to claim a victory in their last five games, identical to their opponents form, Torino. Livorno have represented little threat in front of goal so far this season, only managing three goals during these five bad games. Torino on the other hand are happy to put the ball in the net, but against Inter Milan and Sampdoria, they had failed to see their opponents out and seal the three points. My prediction is a draw, both teams will be playing defensively to avoid another defeat that would make the relegation zone shine brighter.
VERONA to beat SAMPDORIA
Verona’s hello to the Serie A is making a good stand so far, they currently sit in 6th place with only three points off 4th position. Before losing recently, against Inter Milan, the new addition to the Serie A league went on a four game unbeaten streak. Currently, they have scored thirteen goals in their last five games, so they wont be shy of an attacking stance when Sampdoria meet them on Wednesday. The team from Genoa are stuck in 13th position and haven’t caused much threat this season, even though they did scrape a narrow victory against Atlanta last time out. Both teams will be looking to improve their respected positions, but I can only see Hellas Verona position improving at the moment.
VALENCIA to beat ALMERIA
The Mestalla welcomes La Liga strugglers Almeria on Wednesday to face a Valencia team that has also been struggling this season. Valencia are delivering under par in 11th position so far and most recently, were destroyed by the yellow side of the La liga: Villareal. Almeria too, have been destroyed in their new campaign in the Spanish top flight. The Spanish coast of Almeria only have three points at the moment and have failed to gain a point in their last five games, conceding ten goals in total. My prediction will be the orange production sector of Spain for this match: Valencia. They have to squeeze a victory out of Almeria to boost their La Liga adventure.
REAL VALLALODID to beat REAL SOCIEDAD
Vallalodid come into this game with consistent form, the purple shirts have gained three draws from their last five games, and most recently, grabbed a 3-0 victory away from home, against Rayo Vallecano. To support the Vallalodid stable form, they have also scored in each match from their last five fixtures. Their opponents will be the Champions League team: Real Sociedad. The blue and white stripes have been on poor form away from home, both in La Liga and in Europe. A win for either of these teams will boost their chances of escaping from the middle of the table.
