The final major of the year takes us to Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY for the USPGA Championship and the question on most peoples lips will be is this finally the time for Tiger Woods to end his major drought after taking the field apart at last weeks WGC Bridgestone ?…he will surely be in the hunt come Sunday but at around 4/1 he's not a bet for me.

Oak Hill is a 7,163 yard par 70 which last hosted a major in 2003 when Shaun Micheel won the USPGA Championship with a score of -4 when only two other players finished under par for the championship (Chad Campbell -2 and Tim Clark -1) and it promises to be a real test this time around as well, With narrow tree lined fairways and several long par 4's it will require accuracy off the tee and a lot of patience with scrambling and bogey avoidance high on the list of priorities.

STEVE STRICKER: 50/1 EW

Steve seems like a perfect fit this week and his stats back that up as well he currently sits 11th in Driving Accuracy, 1st in Greens In Regulation as well as 1st in Girs from 150-175 yards, 13th in Scrambling, 4th in Par 4 Performance and 3rd in Scoring Average so he has all the tools this week to go well, He warmed up last week with a 13th place at the WGC and has been solid all season with 5 top 10s in 9 starts including two 2nd place finishes so maybe this could be the week he turns his solid form into a major win.

HUNTER MAHAN: 33/1 EW

Hunter will certainly be on a high right now after his wife gave birth to their baby daughter and at the same time gave up the chance of winning the Canadian Open when he withdrew after leading going into the weekend, There maybe some question marks over his focus this week but I'm willing to take a chance on him as a similar thing happened to Brandt Snedeker in 2011 and he came back with a T4th and won the following week, so there is no reason why Hunter can't be in the mix sunday. His stats would also suggest that he'll relish the test this week sitting 9th in Total Driving, 44th in Greens In Regulations, 43rd in Par 4 Performance, 29th in Strokes Gained Putting so he has a solid all round game and could contend this week.

LEE WESTWOOD: 25/1 EW

Lee always seems to be the bridesmaid and never the bride when it comes to major championships but I'm going to take a chance on him to end his major quest this week despite never winning a major his record is still very impressive since 2009 he has managed 10 top 10 finishes in 19 starts with 7 of them been top 3 finishes. Since moving to America earlier his form on the PGA Tour has been solid notching up 6 top 10 finishes and this course may well suit him as well sitting 18th in Total Driving, 26th in Girs from 150-175 yards, 42nd in Bogey Avoidance and a huge improvement in Scrambling which he sits 13th this year compared to finishing 189th in 2012.

BILL HAAS: 50/1 EW

Despite Bill letting us down for a good each way pay out last week I just had to include him this week his form this year has been superb in recent weeks after winning the AT&T National in late June he has gone onto to record another two top 10 finishes in his last 3 starts with the missed cut coming at the open. His stats make good reading to sitting 40th in Total Driving, 12th in Greens In Regulations including impressive long iron stats, 50th in Scrambling and 7th in Bogey Avoidance

JIM FURYK: 66/1 EW

Jim comes into this week coming off the back of two 9th places finishes at the Canadian Open and the WGC last week, questions have to be asked as to whether he has the bottle left to win another major having let events slip through his fingers since his last PGA Tour win in 2010 including last years Us Open but he is a decent price and could be a solid each way shout this week, Jim sits 8th in Driving Accuracy, 49th Girs from 150/175 yards, 55th in Scrambling and 34th in Bogey Avoidance
