PSV v Wolfsburg – Over 2.5 goals

PSV suprisingly didn't manage a goal in the return leg of this match. They did however manage 6 at the weekend against bottom club De Graafschap. It was an incredible, unbelievable game, the sort of match that has you rubbing your eyes in disbelief. PSV conspired to surrender a 3 goal lead to a side who had only netted 6 times all season before that, conceding 3 of the sloppiest goals you're ever likely to see. De Graafschap had hardly looked like threatening before that and depite PSV eventually getting the job done, it wasn't convincing stuff. If they defend like that here, they will be punished by a potent Wolfsburg strikerforce who have scored in all 3 Champions League games and have netted 7 times in their last 3 games domestically. They've only kept one clean sheet in 6 games at goal shy Darmstadt.

Benfica v Galatasaray – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Gala ran out 2-1 winners when these two sides met two weeks ago and they meet again, but this time in Portugal. The Turkish side won 4-0 at the weekend, it was their first clean sheet in some time,  but that was much easier opposition than the one they will face here. Both teams have scored in the last 2 Champions League matches for both of these sides and I wouldn't be surprised if they make the hattrick. Benfica conceded 3 goals to Sporting last time out at home, proving that they still have a lot of defensive work to do. It was the first time that they've scored fewer than 3 goals at home this season. I don't think they will achieve such success in the Champions League, but they certainly look threatening and will want to give the home fans something to cheer.

Sevilla v Man City – Over 2.5 goals

Another one in which we think there will be plenty of goals. The groups are starting to take shape now and those teams who need to kick on will be desperate for point now. It was a poor start for Man City losing to Juventus, but they have bounced back with two straight wins including beating Sevilla at the Etihad. It's going to be much harder in Spain, but they have the players to cause the Spanish side problems. Kevin De Bruyne has embraced life in Manchester and has slotted straight into a side packed with talent. Sevilla lost at the weekend, they did get on the scoresheet, but they were already 2-0 down to Villareal by that stage. Sevilla had been on a very impressive run up until that point, winning 3 consecutive home matches, but they haven't managed to sort out their away form, which is a concern for Unai Emery. They'll embrace City trying to beat them in their own backyard and it should be a very good contest.

Real Madrid v PSG – Real Madrid win

It was a bore draw when these two met at Parc Des Princes. But this time, I think Real Madrid could capitalise. It's difficult to pull these two sides apart as they are both on long unbeaten runs, but I think home advantage can count here for a side who are tested more regularly in their domestic leagues than their opponents. PSG play some decent opponents in Ligue 1, but they have no real challengers. Nice were playing well, Monaco are always a threat, but have started slowly and there's a number of other sides who could give them a game, but ultimately PSG will stroll to the title. The title isn't a given for Real. They have Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, but teams such as Villareal, Valencia and Celta Vigo all playing well. With a few more players back from injury, I think Rafa's side should edge this.
