Slovakia v Iceland – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Slovakia beat Switzerland on Friday night and they looked competent and dangerous every time they went forward for around 70 minutes. They were 3 nil up by this point and once Switzerland made attacking changes, they started to look vulnerable and constantly on the backfoot. Switzerland could easily have levelled it up, but the hosts held out. They are scoring plenty of goals, they hit 4 away at Luxembourg the time before and seem to have plenty of firepower. Duris netted twice against the Swiss, but Marik Hamsik is a dangerous customer and he could be a thorn in the side of this Iceland side. The visitors are in decent form themselves and looked good in qualifiatiion, perhaps their foot has been taken off the gas slightly as they've lost their last two matches to Turkey and Poland. Alfreo Finbogasson and Gylfi Sigurdsson are always capable of a trick and a goal and if Slovakia look as suceptible as they did on Friday night, they might struggle to keep them out.

Worcester City v Boston United – Over 2.5 goals

A meeting in the Conference South between these two sides with the hosts, Worcester City looking to avoid 4 straight defeats against a side who have lost just once in their last 8 games. That defeat for Boston came at North Ferriby where they were narrowly edged out by 4 goals to 3. Boston tend to bring plenty of goals with them, scoring 15 goals in their last 6 matches and scoring in all but 2 matches this campaign. They've only kept two clean sheets since August and it's their defensive side of the game they need to work on. They are second highest scorers in the league, but have conceded the 2nd highest amount of goals. Worcester failed to score in their last home game, but that was the first time this season. They couldn't score against Nuneaton, but they have only conceded 17 goals in 16 matches so they can't be blamed for that, they won't be the only team to draw blanks against them. Over 2.5 goals would have landed in 10 of the last 12 games involving the away side and I fancy it to happen again.

Montrose v Queens Park – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Off to Scotland for the one Tuesday night fixture as 5th play 7th. Montrose are the epitome of inconsistency. Their recent record reads LWLWLWLW, they just can’t seem to put a run together and they also don’t appear to draw! Queen’s Park are without a win in 4 and have picked up just a single point since the end of September. Both teams have scored in the last 3 home games for Montrose and in 5 of their last 6 games in all competitions. The same has occurred for Queens Park, who have scored and conceded in all of their last 3 away games and in 6 of their last 7. 70% of Montrose’s goals have come at home and have scored 20 goals in their 12 games this season. Those goals have been spread out as they’ve only failed to score once. Queens Park have only failed to score once away from home and haven’t kept an opponent out since the 2nd game of the season.

Peterhead v Stranraer – Peterhead to score over 1.5 team goals

Staying North of the Border, we head to Peterhead for this match. They sit 5th in the table but have won just once in their last 8 games. Peterhead kept a clean sheet against in-form Dunfermline last time out, they failed to find the net as well, but their opponents have only conceded 8 goals all season and have the best defensive record in the league. Peterhead have scored 21 goals this season and have scored 11 of their 21 goals here and have netted in their last 6 in front of their own fans. They do score plenty, netting 3 away at Stenhousemuir, but 2 past Airdrieonians, drew 2-2 with Forfar and were involved in a 5 goal thriller with Brechin City. Stranraer have conceded in their last 4 games and had 3 put past them by Ayr United on their travels. They conceded 3 to Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline and Stenhousemuir and have been defending appallingly of late. They’re looking to bounce back from 4 consecutive defeats.
