Football Accumulator Tips – Tuesday Championship Fixtures

Football Accumulator Tips for the Championship fixtures on a packed Tuesday evening of terrific football. Our teams of tipsters have picked out 5 teams for your accumulators.

Its a quick turnaround for most Championship clubs as they play a set of midweek fixtures and we have picked 5 teams to win in front of their home fans under the floodlights.

Football Accumulator Tips:

Birmingham v Nottingham Forest – Birmingham win

There's something hugely effective and consistent about Birmingham at St Andrews this season. Gary Rowett has overseen a terrific turnaround at the midlands club and he will be looking for another 3 points. They beat Bristol City 4-2 at the weekend and have combined pragmatism and flair. A hattrick for Clayton Donaldson will be a huge boost as they were the first goals for the big striker. In contrast, it's been an inconsistent start for Nottingham Forest who will be pleased to see the transfer window closing as it must have been a distraction. They beat QPR away from home, but they were helped by Rob Green's sending off and if Brum keep 11 men on the field, they may not a get an easy ride here.

Brighton v Rotherham – Brighton win

In a Steve Wright style – Hands up who had Brighton to be top after 6 games? Not me! Chris Hughton may claim he saw it coming as he must have spotted the tremendous spirit in the camp and Tomer Hemed looks like a quality addition to the squad. He scored the winner against Hull, a side who are very difficult to break down and apparently, he should have made it 2 moments later. Rotherham did well to get a point at Charlton, but it's already shaping up to be a long hard season for the Millers. They don't score many and the Brighton defence is hard to breach this season, they've kept 4 clean sheets in all competitions and only Ipswich have put more than 1 goal past them. It's going to be a difficult evening for the South Yorkshire side.

Burnley v MK Dons – Burnley win

Burnley have started well this season. They perhaps struggled to adapt to life outside of the Premier League immediately, losing at Ipswich and drawing with Leeds, but they have won their last 3 games including an impressive 3-1 win against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend. They have £9m striker Andre Gray replacing Lukas Jutkiwicz who is injured for a large chunk of the season. Gray scored his first goal of the season late on at the weekend and you imagine he will kick on and terrorise the MK Dons defence. The Dons aren't scoring as many as last season when they achieved promotion. It's hard to step up, but you can't imagine Sam Gallagher scoring as many Benik Afobe.

Charlton v Huddersfield – Charlton win

Charlton will have let many people down at the weekend as they were expected to beat Rotherham. They could only draw 1-1 in the end, but they should have too much for Huddersfield. The Addicks have already beaten Hull and QPR at the Valley and Huddersfield just haven't been scoring enough and lost 2-0 at Cardiff at the weekend. Harry Bunn, Nakhi Wells and the injury prone James Vaughn haven't weighed in with the same amount of goals as last campaign and the loss of Jacob Butterfield is being felt. Charlton should get the job done here and I wouldn't be suprised if it's another 2-0 defeat for Huddersfield.

Middlesbrough v Brentford – Middlesbrough win

Another home win here – Boro created plenty of chances at the weekend against MK Dons and eventually it was a moment of magic from Stewart Downing which unlocked the Dons defence. David Nugent also got his first goal for the club and it could be a similar story here. Brentford have been average this season, not living up to the expectations, but a point against Leeds was credible. Losing Andre Gray was a blow and he scored in their only victory this season, a 4-2 win away at Bristol City (The Robins were 2 up before getting a man sent off) and I fancy Boro to get the job done here.
