Getafe v Rayo Vallecano – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Getafe haven't done much on the road this season, but they have been pretty handy at home. They've only failed to score once at home and that was in their last match at Coliseum Alfonso Perez which was against Barcelona. The fact they couldn't find the net was boosted by the fact that Real Madrid couldn't find a way through on Saturday night. They've scored 82% of their goals here, 9 of their 11 goals have been witnessed by the home crowd. On a glance at the form, 3 home clean sheets for Getafe would put you off this bet, but all of those came against the bluntest defences in the league. Las Palmas, Levante and Malaga are three lowest scorers in the league with the latter failing to find the net 7 times this season. None of them have scored more than 10 goals this season whilst Vallecano have 13. They failed to score against Eibar, but they don't concede an awful lot, however Vallecano put 2 past Barcelona away at the Nou Camp, scored twice against Sevilla and also found a way past Las Palmas.

Le Havre v Brest – Both Teams to Score? Yes

This odds on with most bookmakers, that's because there have been a lot of low scoring games involving these sides, but I think there's every chance both of these sides will find the net. Brest have scored in 7 of their last 8 games and rhe same has happened for Le Havre. It was Red Star with their tight defence that was the undoing for Brest whilst Le Havre shared a goalless draw with Niort – a side who have only scored 12 goals all season. Both these teams have been in form recently, with the hosts winning their last 4, 3 of them have been 1-0, but they've all be away from home. They beat Sochaux here 2-1 last time. They've both scored 16 goals this season with Le Harve having scored in every game since 12th September. Brest have only failed to score 3 times all season and two of those were in August. They shipped to Dijon in their last away matc and then hit back with 3 goals against Creteil. It's the recent goalscoring exploits that also interest me – Brest have only scored 5 away goals all season, but 3 of those have been in their last 2 away matches. Le Havre have only scored 4 at home all season, but half of them were against Sochaux two weeks ago. I think both teams will find a way of scoring here.

Cagliari v Ascoli – Cagliari -1 Handicap

Cagliari are top and looking to bounce back to Serie A and they face Ascoli on Monday night. They are the top goalsorers in the league having netted 27 times in 13 matches. Ascoli are looking to move up the table after a disappointing start to the season. They sit in 19th place and despite a 1-0 win at home last time out, I fancy them to come unstuck here. The home side have kept 3 clean sheets in their last 4 games which is handy as they try to cover our handicap. Ascoli have failed to score in 4 of their last 5 matches and with Cagliari having the 3rd best defence in the league, it's hard to imagine Ascoli putting many past them. They've conceded just 6 goals at home and have scored 74% of their goals in front of their fans. Ascoli have kept just 1 clean sheet since the start of October and the watermark is Cagliari's 2-0 victory over Vincenza who have the best away form in the division and have conceded just 16 goals all season.

Wohlen v Winterthur – Under 2.5 goals

Off to Switzerland for this one. Both team are in mixed form at the moment lying 8th and 9th in the table. Wohlen have very poor home record, but Winterthur's recent away form didn't convince me enough to back them. Instead, we'll opt for fewer than 3 goals as neither side have been scoring enough. Just 16 goals for Winterthur in their 15 games and they've failed to score in 2 of their last 3. They haven't had a game go over 2.5 goals since the 23rd September, that game was at home to Chiasso. The away side also have the best defence in the league and have kept 2 clean sheets in their last 3 away games, losing the other 1-0. Wohlen have lost their last 2 home games 3-1 and 2-1. but they were to teams Lusanne Sport and Wil, who are the two highest scorers in the league. Winterthur don't have that kind of firepower. It ended 0-0 when these sides met in August and I could see another low scoring draw here.
