Brazil vs Uruguay Match Preview and Betting Tips

Wednesday evening sees Brazil take on Uruguay in the semi finals of the Confederations Cup.  Brazil came through their group winning all three games and scoring eight goals along the way, whilst Uruguay came second in their group scoring eleven goals.  Guaranteed in this match are goals as both teams are attack-minded and with a front three of Neymar, Hulk and Fred for Brazil, and Cavani, Suarez and Forlan for Uruguay, we should be in for a cracker.

With the tournament taking place in Brazil and the home crowd cheering them on they will be more focused than ever to get to the final as anything else will be seen as a failure. Scolari is under massive pressure to make it to the final with the majority of Brazilians not being happy at the former world cup winner's appointment.  Uruguay on the other hand will be looking to make it to the final for the first time in their history and have an uphill task of beating the Samba boys in their own backyard.

I can see both teams scoring with Brazil advancing to the Final.  A Brazil win with BTTS is priced at 2/1 with William Hill and looks worthy of a bet.  Brazil's attacking flair makes goals look likely and I can see them grabbing a few against a poor Uruguay back four.  I would therefore suggest a punt on a 3-1 victory for Brazil which is priced at 10/1 with Ladbrokes.  Neymar is performing well having bagged three Man Of The Match awards in three games in this tournament, and I can see him making that four out of four if he continues his fine form.  He is 5/1 with Bet Victor to do just that.
