Saturday sees the much anticipated return of the domestic fixture list following the international break, and our writer Mark Kozurek brings you his best Both Teams To Score accumulator. Read on for his match analysis and selections that when combined into a five-fold pays odds of over 10/1 with Betfair

Newcastle v Liverpool

A fixture notorious for goals, Liverpool came out of St James Park in April with a 6-0 victory, and the Magpies will be looking for revenge. Currently, Pardew’s men have been on a rocky edge formwise, but their opponents' haven’t been shy of goals this season, currently sitting joint top of the Barclays Premier League.

Blackpool v Wigan

The lunchtime kick off in The Championship will feature both teams with the same expectation; promotion to the top flight. Blackpool and Wigan are both teams that can find the net. Wigan are likely to field a full-strength XI after gaining a win in Europe and most recently, against Blackburn. Blackpool on the other hand, have witnessed a small blip with a goalless draw against Charlton last time out. This will ensure manager Paul Ince is driving for a win to improve their position this weekend.

Barnsley v Middlesbrough

Both teams haven’t been enjoying much success this season, Middlesbrough as an former top-flight club look as if they are punching below their weight in this league. Both teams have been showing wide gaps at the back, and the respective managers are under pressure. The last match for Boro had seen four home goals to seal a win. Barnsley, before the dreaded QPR game, also netted in the two games previously.

Tranmere v Leyton Orient

Ronnie Moore and Tranmere will be looking to progress out of the relegation zone this week, and they would like to continue the winning formula from their success with Bradford. The team in white should be doing better. Leyton Orient will be their opponents, who have made a superb introduction to this season, sitting top of the league without a loss. They will need to continue bagging goals thought as it is surely only a matter of time until Peterborough catch up.

Hartlepool v Plymouth

Both of these teams started poorly this season, each conceding a barrow full of goals. However, they can find the net for their own benefit as Hartlepool did against the good footballing side of Mansfield, and Plymouth's recent draw against Portsmouth. It’s a long trip up north for the travelling Pilgrim fans, but I’m confident this encounter will feature plenty goalmouth action, as both teams hope to climb up the table.
