Chievo v Torino

Two sides who have had good starts to the new Serie A season meet here. Chievo lost to Inter at the weekend, it was a narrow defeat and they just couldn't find the net against the top side, but I expect them to do so here. Both teams have scored in Torino's last 2 away games, against teams that are lower than Chievo and they have a couple of defensive issues to sort out. Torino have scored at least 2 goals in each of their last 5 games in Serie A, but have yet to really be tested, this could be just what they need. Chievo have been scoring freely and even netted against Juventus. They put 4 past Lazio and they shouldn't have problems scoring here. 

 

Hannover v Stuttgart

From two good teams to two bad teams. Neither of these sides have started the Bundesliga as they would have wanted. They lie second bottom and third bottom of the division and haven't managed a win between them. Stuttgart have created plenty of chances, but havent been able to convert many of them. They did score at home to Koln and twice away at Hamburg. They also netted against Eintracht Frankfurt and found the net away at Hertha Berlin. They shouldn't have too many problems overcoming a ropey Hannover defence. There's hope though for Hannover who netted twice in their last home game and also found 2 goals against Darmstadt. 

 

Toulouse v Marseille 

There was much coverage of Marseille's grudge match with Lyon on Sunday as it was full of action, controversy and talking points. They got a point and managed to find the net. They have been scoring freely of late and many expected them to go and score a winner. Under their new manager they have been playing an attacking formation and they pour forward in numbers. They haven't been great on the road, but they simply must find a way through Toulouse's defence. The home side conceded a last minute equaliser last time around and have been involved in some high scoring affairs. Marseille like scoring goals against this opposition and they hit 6 last time they met. 

 

Heracles v Vitesse

This is a cup game, but it should be a continuation of the league form of both of these sides. Heracles are having a season to remember and they beat PSV 2-1 at the weekend. They have won all of their last 5 games and they continue on an upward curve. There's no telling how many changes these sides will make, but hopefully they won't want to disrupt a winning team. Vitesse had a slightly easier assignment, putting 3 past bottom side De Graafschap, but they scored goals and despite their last away match being a defeat to Utrecht, they scored a goal during the 90 minutes and I fancy both sides to net here.
