3.45pm Prince Of Wales’s Stakes

A cracker of a race with the best filly for many a year looking to regain her reputation after disappointing when beaten by Cirrus Des Aigles.  Even though she blotted her copybook last time out anyone who opposes TREVE (4/6 Ladbrokes) are highly unlikely to be rewarded. Providing she handles the quicker ground she will prove very difficult to built with her Arc form a particularly impressive representation of her ability and class.

4.25pm Duke Of Cambridge Stakes

Certify is a really interesting contender, and shouldn't be judged solely on her recent fourth at Meydan (which may be yet another example of the dreaded “bounce” factor).  However, if SKY LANTERN (7/2 William Hill) is fully fit and at her best then this is a foregone conclusion.  The winner of the 1000 Guineas and Coronation Stakes last season drops in class to this Group 2 contest (there are so few opportunities against her own sex as a four year-old so that is not a negative), and at odds against, how can I possibly resist?
