Football Betting Tips 

Montpellier v GFC Ajaccio -Both Teams to Score? Yes

Montpellier got a superb result on Friday, surprising many by beating Lyon on their own patch by four goals to two. They looked dangerous going forward and caught out their high flying opponents on a number of occasions. They've won their last four matches at home with victories over Reims, Bastia, Lorient  & Nantes but have only kept one clean sheet during that run. In their last five games, they've scored in all of them, notching 12 goals in the process. After a goalless start to the season, they've only failed to score twice since the 12th September, both of those being away from home. Their opponents Ajaccio have hit a bit of form themselves winning four of their last five games and drawing the other one. They've scored in all of their last five games and are looking difficult to beat. It's hard to call a winner in this one,  but we think there will definitely be goals. 

 

Troyes v Toulouse – Toulouse Draw No Bet 

The battle of two very poor teams in Ligue 1 as Troyes host Toulouse. This one could end in a draw, but we're siding with the away team as they've shown flickers of hope with a number of creditable draws. They also picked up their first win of the season over ten man Nice at the weekend and that may breed confidence. They've had some difficult away games recently against PSG, Lyon and Guingamp, all of whom are very strong at home, not something which can be said for Troyes. However, a home point against Montpellier was decent and sharing the spoils away at Bordeaux and Ajaccio were enough to give us hope they will come out on top. And, if it does end a draw, you get your money back. Troyes have conceded two more goals than Toulouse and have only scored five goals at home all season. 

 

Lille v St Etienne – St Etienne Draw No Bet 

Lille don't score enough goals, that's evident from their stats. They've only had one match which has gone over 2.5 goals this season, a 1-2 defeat at home to Marseille. They host St Etienne, who are towards the top of the table, but have been mainly relying on their superb home form. A 3-0 win over Guingamp was a terrific confidence booster after being beaten comprehensively by Lyon. They've had mixed recent form with three wins and three defeats, but they've had some difficult games which included a loss to PSG and the aforementioned clash to Lyon. Despite the inconsistencies, Lille's form is worse having taken just six points from their last eight games with the latest a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Angers. They really should have beaten Troyes, a poor side who are at the bottom of the table. They've only scored more than once this season and if St Etienne get a goal, it's hard to see a Lille comeback. 

 

Austria Wien v Sturm Graz – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Off to Austria for this game in which we fancy both sides finding the net. Austria Wien have scored and conceded in each of their last seven games and it's occured in 13 of their 17 games they've played this season. They can't seem to keep a clean sheet to save their lives. They face Sturm Graz, who are a little more organised at the back. They've only socred six goals away all season, but half of those have come in the last four away games. They've only failed to score in four games this season but have managed to keep six clean sheets. Three of those have been away from home and they've conceded eight goals in their last three away matches. Going off recent form and Austria Wien's tendancy to bring the goals, I think we'll see goals for each side here.
