Weekend's Best Horse Racing Tips – With the weather eventually relenting it looks like we are set for a full day of racing this Saturday. My two best bets come from Kempton and Lingfield but punters beware, there is still a fitness issue with some of the smaller yards and those horses absent for some time and my bets will be placed with the appropriate stakes under those circumstances.

In my not so humble opinion Kempton hosts the best of the racing, and with soft going, the theory is that the form should stand up that little bit better. The racing is competitive though I’m hoping we get a massive run out of an each way bet on DUBAI PRINCE (22/1 BetVictor) in the Dovecote Hurdle due where the market looks sure to be dominated by the unbeaten Irving (three from three) and First Mohican (one from one) – and righty so. Although I am a little wary the front two in the betting, they offer zero value with Paul Nicholls insistent he needs to get another run in to Irving and the Alan King yard still blowing a bit hot and cold. Looking for the one to finish third at a price could yet be the sensible option and my choice would pick these up and carry them on faster ground on the flat over a mile and a half or so. Dubai Prince looked like a machine on his hurdling debut, though to be fair it has all gone a bit wrong since then. Pulled up next time out here at Kempton and then a well beaten third at Doncaster, he needs to learn to settle and then make his challenge in the final stages of the race. If his jockey is able to do so then he is not without a chance and has a price that offers value.

My other suggestion this weekend runs on a pretty decent all-weather card at Lingfield when a seventh furlong could be just what the doctor ordered for ABSOLUTELY SO (7/1 bet365) in the 2.50pm. Trained by the excellent Andrew Balding, the lightly raced four year old has oodles of room for improvement with just the one run last year and knowing the stable, may well have needed BOTH his comeback runs after over a year off. He performed well when he ran on over six furlongs here behind the well regarded Rivellino, this is the main reason I am happy to back him here despite a couple of pounds rise in the weights.
