Weekend Horse Racing Tips from Punchestown 4.25pm

Our racing tipster has picked out his best bet for Punchestown on Saturday 2^nd May and the selection comes from the 4.25pm race.

An intriguing Grade 1 event to close out the big races of the Punchestown festival with Willie Mullins represented by two of the top three in the market in his filly Petite Parisienne and top of the page Buisemess Sivola, with Paul Nicholls travelling over with main market rival Qualando.

Preference however goes to a horse that has missed all the big three festivals in Cheltenham, Aintree and Fairyhouse and comes here a fresh horse. Fiscal Focus was last seen when running too freely against the top hurdlers in the county in Hurricane Fly and Jezki. He did his chances no good by pulling too hard early on and was a spent force coming to the second last. His previous run at Leopardstown over Christmas was very impressive though when he looked to be one of Irelands leading youngsters. Things obviously haven’t gone to plan since but if he can back to his best he can give Dessie McDonagh another Grade 1 winner here at a nice price.
