US PGA Championship 2013 Each-Way Golf Betting Tips

Jason Dufner.jpg

The final major of the season takes place this week when the world top golfers head to New York for the US PGA Championship and we have got three betting tips for the event.

99 of the world’s top 100 golfers will be teeing off on Thursday 8th August, only the injured Louis Oosthuizen stops it being all 100 of the world’s best.

The course has been touted as being almost impossible if you venture off the fairway so straight driving and strong iron play into the greens look the order of the day for the four days of golf.

Tiger Woods once again heads the betting at 5/1 but that price is far too short for a player that has seemingly lost all ability to win a major since his return, and he played one of his worst tournaments ever when the US PGA Championship was last played around this course back in 2003.

Therefore for our golf betting tips we are steering clear of Tiger Woods and instead searching for three each-way bets for the US PGA.

US PGA Each-Way Betting Tips:

Jason Dufner – 35/1 Paddy Power

Dufner finished fourth at the US Open to kick start his season and since then he has finished in the top five twice in his last four outings including when producing three solid rounds of golf in the Bridgestone Invitational. He made it to a play-off in this event in 2011 after a late collapse before losing out and could go one better here.

Zach Johnson – 45/1 Betfred

Johnson is already a major winner and saves his best golf for par 70 courses. Five of his nine tour wins have come on par 70s and his recent form is encouraging. He has recently finished in the top six at both the Open Championship and the WGC Bridgestone Invitational and if he can find the greens with his irons we expect him to be there or there about coming Sunday evening.

Lee Westwood – 33/1 Ladbrokes

Westwood was right up there for the opening three rounds of the Open Championship before a collapse on the last day however that form was encouraging and his ability to find the fairway will stand him in good stead here. Last week he was in the top 10 for both fairways and greens in regulation and that is exactly what will be needed around Oak Hill this week.
