Tuesday’s Free Horse Racing Tips

More winners for us yesterday and we’ll be hoping to continue that into Tuesday as there’s plenty more horse racing today, with all flat racing cards at Catterick and Salisbury, while Chelmsford and Ripon provide the evening action.

Today’s Horse Racing Tips

Catterick Tips –

2.15 – Catterick – The Mark Prescott team won this race in 2012 and also boast an impressive 38% record with their runners at the track so their SILAS R (e/w) (Bet here at 20/1 with Betfair) is the call here. Fifth on debut last month on the AW was a solid introduction and should be more at home on the turf. With the expected improvement the horse should go well with Chris Catlin booked to ride.

2.45 – Catterick – A good race for the favourites with 6 of the last 9 market leaders winning this race, so keep an eye on the betting. The one we like here is Michael Bell’s THATCHEREEN (Bet here at 5/1 with Paddy Power). The horse was a beaten favourite last time out at Newmarket but in not into claiming company and on these terms looks to have a big chance. The step up in trip is another plus and Louis Steward takes off a handy 3lbs too – the final plus is the yard have a 44% record with their runners here.

Salisbury Tips –

3.00 – Salisbury – The Hannon camp are always feared here at Salisbury so their runner here Al Nofor is feared, but with the Haggas team going well at the moment then their RIVE GAUCHE (Bet here at 4/6 with Bet365) looks the one to beat. Second last time out as a beaten favourite but only went down a head over 1m2f – back down in trip is expected to get off the mark.

3.30 – Salisbury – Greek Islands is the only last-time out winner in the field so is respected, but also carries top-weight here. With that in mind we’ll going against that horse in favour of SKYE MORNING (e/w) (Bet here at 9/1 with Bet365). From the Harry Dunlop team the horse is into handicap company for the first time on what looks a fair mark and heads here off the back of a good second at Lingfield last time out.

Chelmsford Tips –

7.50 – Chelmsford – Some big yards on show here but we’ll stick with one of the two previous CD winners – MARTLET (Bet here at 9/4 with Boylesports). The horse has not been out for 80 days but will find this easier than last time after running down the field against the useful Crystal Zvezda – she won by 3 ½ lengths the time before over this course and distance.

7.20 – Chelmsford – Hakka is interesting back on the AW, but this looks a good chance for INEXORABLE TIDE (e/w) (Bet here at 6/1 with Bet365) to continue his winning ways. The horse comes here off the back of two excellent wins at Wolverhampton and Chelmsford, while a 4lb rise for his most recent victory doesn’t look too harsh.

8.20 – Chelmsford – This could be another for the John Gosden team, who have an impressive 50% strike-rate here at the track. They run NAFLA (Bet here at 3/1 wit Bet365), who was fourth at Ascot on debut, but with the expected improvement and looking at his US breeding should be suited by conditions here.

Ripon Tips –

7.05 – Ripon– ALEXANDRAKOLLONTAI (e/w) (Bet here at 18/1 with William Hill) comes from the Alistair Whillans team who have done very well in the past here at the track. This 5 year-old was a tidy winner two runs back but failed to follow-up off just 4lbs higher last time. The soft ground went against her that day and is worth giving another chance to as long as the grond dries out a bit.

8.35 – Ripon – A beaten favourite last time out but William Haggas’ MAWJOOD (Bet here at 4/11 with Bet365) is expected to make amends here The horse was second at Wetherby, but should have come on for that run – being it was his first for over two months. The Haggas yard also took this race 12 months ago so know what’s required to win land this.
