Man Utd vs Chelsea Betting Tips – No winner at Old Trafford

Old Trafford plays host to the second match on Super Sunday as title-winners Man Utd host Chelsea, who continue to press for points as they seek Champions League qualification.

With the league title already secured and little to play for, it could be tempting to oppose Man United.  Having said that, Sir Alex Ferguson will not want to lose to Chelsea and so expect United to field a strong starting XI.  The Red Devils have lost just two of their last 26 Premier League matches at Old Trafford and last failed to score in a home league match back in December 2009.

With the race for Champions League qualification nearing a climax, Chelsea travel north knowing that they need to take at least a point against United.  The Blues are sure to press for a victory but the fact that they have won just one of their last six away league matches does not offer much cause for optimism.

Recent league meetings between the sides favour United who have won three of the last four and drawn one.  A draw is probably the most likely outcome from today’s match and that is my best bet.  Given there are normally goals when these two meet, a punt on the 2-2 correct score is also worth a few quid.
