Horse racing betting tips for the 3.45pm Racing UK Anywhere Handicap at Nottingham on Sunday.

It's a fairly slow day on the racing front this Sunday with a lack of any high end racing.  The best fare on offer comes at Nottingham where 12 line up for a 0-95 dash at 3.45.

Judge 'N Jury (14/1 Coral) has been a stalwart for the Ron Harris yard down the years, finding himself off his lowest handicap mark for some 24 months.  He has lacked a bit of spark in two runs this season but genuinely soft ground here may help his cause and he may still remain competitive even at the age of 10.

PEARL BLUE (13/2 Ladbrokes) has slipped a couple of pounds in the weights herself, having been placed off higher last Autumn.  She is just 1lb higher than her last winning mark and with three of her four career wins coming on soft or heavy she will enjoy today's conditions.  She has what could be a handy draw in stall 11 and, with the likes of Judge 'N Jury in the line-up, she should get a solid pace to run at.

Foxy Forever (2/1 bet365) is massively unexposed compared to most in here, having seen a racecourse just four times in his career.  He is arguably unlucky not to have won three of those races, flying home on his return at Newmarket having found trouble at a crucial stage.  This would be by far the most testing conditions he has run in and Kodiac's are not known for their love of cut so the weather will play an important part in his chances.

Conditions look perfect for Rusty Rocket (14/1 SkyBet) who relishes soft ground and the minimum trip.  Just 1lb higher than his latest triumph and 1lb lower than when runner-up to the progressive Aetna at Newcastle in April he would appear to have a great chance at the weights.  He does however have two ways of running and comes here having run abysmally at Haydock on Friday night when sent off favourite.

Megaleka (18/1 bet365) and Taurus Twins (10/1 William Hill) have both made hay in 2014, racking up eight wins between them already.  Both go well with cut in the ground and, whilst they can be given respect as in form sprinters, they will need to pull more out the bag to offset the rise both in the weights and in class.

It looks a typically competitive sprint handicap with little to choose between a few of them.  It would be great to see Judge 'N Jury win again but that would be heart ruling head on what he has done so far this season.  If the ground remains soft then PEARL BLUE looks to have lots going for her and gets the vote, any quickening of the ground would bring Foxy Forever right into contention as he is by far the most likely winner of the race if able to handle the current soft ground.
