Wolfsburg v Manchester United – Both Teams to Score? No

Manchester United need something here at the Volkswagen Arena, but I don't think they'll get it as despite their pragmatic nature, they've not been scoring the goals required. The fact, they couldn't find a way past PSV, who had been leaking goals left, right and centre at the time of playing was a perfect summary of their season. Louis Van Gaal's side are just not incisive enough and don't create enough chances. Even Bastian Schweinsteiger admits his side have problems in front of goal and need to step it up. The trouble is, Wolfsburg are hard to break down, before this weekend, they'd not lost for around thirty matches and unless you are Bayern Munich, Leverkusen or Dortmund, they're not easy to score against. Just ask PSV or CSKA Moscow, who both came away from Germany with empty pockets and empty goal columns. Of course, a 0-0 draw could still quailify United for the knock out stage, but they will be relying on other results. Wayne Rooney is once again absent and although many United fans won't feel as though it's a huge loss, they will miss his big match experience.

Benfica v Atletico Madrid – Atletico Madrid win

Having watched both of these sides recently, they defend brilliantly, particularly the away side who have been incredibly organised and embarked on a nine match unbeaten run since these sides last met. Top spot in Group C is up for grabs in this encounter and it might be keenly contested, but Atletico have just been so organised at the back recently, that it's hard to see them being breached easily. Likewise, Benfica, although they've kept Sporting Braga out, they've had some easier fixtures, but clean sheets will breed confidence at the back and they will feel they can keep the Spaniards out. Diego Godin has warned Benfica that his side will go all out to win this tie. A draw will technically fine for Benfica, but it's always a difficult ask to just settle for a point and I think they might be hit by Atleti and Griezmann. It may only have been Granada, but Atleti won 2-0 at the weekend and they prevented any crosses from coming in and never looked in danger. Benfica will be a tougher challenge, but I feel as though the Spanish side will want to claim top spot and they've likely to do it with a clean sheet also.

PSG v Shakhtar – Over 2.5 goals

A short one, but one that is likely to happen. Shakhtar shocked everybody almost coming back from an inevitable defeat to Real Madrid in the last round, the game finished 3-4, but it wasn't far away from being one of the greatest surprises in the UEFA Champions League. Shakhtar showed tremendous spirit and also the ability to finish and they may even nick one against the French champions. PSG have been imperious recently and hit three more against Nice on Friday night. Whenever the Ukrainian side go toe-to-toe with a bigger team, there always seems to be goals and the only match which has been tight was the 1-0 defeat to Malmo. Seven of their last eight matches domestically have also finished with over 2.5 goals whilst four of the last five for Laurent Blanc's sides have gone the same way.

Sevilla v Juventus – Juventus Draw No Bet

Juventus have really picked up their form in Serie A and have only lost twice since the start of September. Once was to Napoli and the other was to surprise package of the season Sassuolo. Other than that, they've been picking up point after point and have won five in a row, Sevilla have not been as consistent, although they've picked up after their poor start to the La Liga season. They have lost two of their their last five games and could only draw with Deportivo at the weekend. They beat Monchengladbach on the opening matchday, but since then, they've lost every single Champions League game and I can't envisage a sea change here. They;ve concded seven goals in their last two Champions League games and with Juventus defending imperiously, it's going to be difficult for the Spanish side to get anything.

Macclesfield v Eastleigh – Over 2.5 goals

These are two in form teams meeting in the National League and it should be a terrific encounter. They've both won three out of the last four games and although Macclesfield came undone on Merseyside at the weekend, they're back at home now, where they have been brilliant of late. Easteligh have hit six goals in their last two away games whilst Macclesfield have hit 14 in their last five games in all competitions. The home side have hitn 39 goals this season whilst the visitors are just three behind, but have played a game less. Macc have scored in their last four home games whilst Eastleigh have conceded in their last ten consecutive away matches. 73% of Eastleigh's away matches have had three or more goals in them and I think this one can go the same way,
