Leicester v Barnsley – Home Win

Leicester have started the campaign well and currently sit third with 17 points from eight games. They should have enough quality to see off Barnsley, who sit second bottom with only four points from a possible 24. The Tykes narrowly avoided relegation last year whereas Leicester were unlucky not to win promotion.

Leyton Orient v Walsall – Home Win

Orient have had an impeccable start to this season by winning all eight of their league games thus far and are already five points clear of second placed Peterborough. They are good value again to beat Walsall, who themselves have had a decent start to the season and sit in seventh place. They will do well to take anything at Brisbane Road however, and Orient should make it nine wins from nine in League One.

Wolves v Sheffield United – Home Win

Wolves sit in third place have taken an impressive 19 points from their opening eight fixtures. They should beat a Sheffield United side who have had a shocking start to the season, and find themselves in the relegation zone with six losses from eight games. The Blades, who were widely tipped for promotion, will find it tough against a Wolves side who themselves will be hoping for promotion back to the Championship.

Chesterfield v Mansfield – Home Win

Chesterfield are another side who have had an excellent start to the season with seven wins and a draw from their eight games. They come up against a newly promoted Mansfield side, who have started life back in League Two well, and are in fifth place. Chesterfield however should see off The Stags on home soil, and extend their winning run to six games.
