Hull to Beat Newcastle 13/5:

The bet of the weekend in the Premier League has to be Hull City away to Newcastle, on offer at 13/5. Hull made some great signings through the summer and, having played in the early stages of the Europa League, are already playing to a high level of fitness. Newcastle on the other hand have had a poor start to their campaign and, following an extremely lacklustre display in their 4 – 0 defeat away to Southampton last weekend, are surrounded by more calls for Manager Alan Pardew to go. The fact that the home fans will likely be concentrating more on their protests than getting behind their team is another factor why Hull look great value at those odds.

Nottingham Forest to Beat Millwall 6/4:

On to the Championship and leaders Nottingham Forest are flying high at present sitting at the top of the table. Manager Stuart Pearce has his side playing some delightful counter-attacking football and with record signing, Britt Assombalonga, doing what he does best by scoring the goals they look a real threat against any side. With this in mind, the 6/4 on offer to win away at Millwall this weekend looks a good addition to any accumulator, especially when taking into account the fact that Millwall have won only one of their last four league matches.

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Reading 11/10:

Elsewhere in the Championship Sheffield Wednesday entertain Reading at home and, although they sit two places below them in the table at present, Wednesday look the more likely to come out on top in this one and are on offer at 11/10. The Owls only defeat of the season so far has come at the hands of top of the table Notts Forest and that was by the narrowest of margin and, unlike in recent seasons, the team have showed excellent character and determination this campaign. Reading on the other hand have had an inconsistent start to their season and, although they are a talented side, this could be another off day for them.

Peterborough to Beat Yeovil 6/4:

Into League One and I have gone for the game between two of last season’s relegated sides from the Championship. Yeovil host Peterborough and it is the away side that I have gone for to complete my accumulator. At 6/4 they represent a value bet considering the differences in the sides fortunes so far this season. Peterborough are sitting nicely in the promotion spot being second in the league, whilst Yeovil have struggled to gain any momentum this season and sit just two points off the relegation places at present having won just two of their opening eight games.
