Everton will be relishing the day’s early kick-off, as they aim to get a head start on rivals Liverpool who lie level on points with The Toffees in seventh place having played a game more. David Moyes’s side have a very decent record against Man City in the last few years, winning four of their last five meetings at Goodison, and seven of their last ten league meetings in total. And of course Everton are stubbornly difficult to beat at home, having lost only one of their last 18 home league matches.
