World Cup 2014: Group B Betting Tips and Predictions

The second part in our World Cup Group Stage Predictions sees us look at Group B and work out some free World Cup 2014 Betting Tips.

Group B is an exciting one as it contains current World champions Spain as well as former runners up Holland. The rest of the group is made up by Chile and Australia.

Spain are expected to comfortably qualify from the group as the World Cup Betting Odds show at best price 2/9 to qualify with Bet365. Holland are expected to join them at 1/2 with Coral while Chile are 11/10 with Betfred and Australia huge outsiders at 10/1 with Coral.

Spain are clearly and probably correctly big favorites here as they still have plenty of class and should go far in the tournament. The Dutch have gained a reputation for self-explosion in recent years but have got out of the group in the last seven World Cup’s they have qualified for.

Chile can’t be written off though, Alexis Sanchez and co. showed their class at Wembley recently as they beat England. On the South American continent, they cannot be written off to overcome Holland, with their game 23^rd June looking huge here.

The Dutch are an accomplished outfit though and romped through qualification with nine wins and a draw. I do expect the Dutch to get out of the group but it won’t be easy for them. 15/8 is a good price on Spain to win the group and Holland to finish second at Winner.
