Harry Redknapp will be hoping his return to Upton Park is a happy one but they will have to overcome a West Ham side playing some good football of late. QPR badly need points as they sit 18^th with just one win so far this season.

With 6 games gone, West Ham are 13^th with two wins, a draw and 3 defeats. The wins both look impressive, one came in a difficult trip to Crystal Palace while their last game at home saw them impressively beat Liverpool 3-1. The likes of Enner Valencia and and Morgan Amalfitano have got the Hammers playing some really nice stuff but Stewart Downing has been the main man and looks like a player reborn and he was perhaps unlucky not to get an England call-up.

They may have lost 2-1 to Manchester United last week but on another day they may have got a draw there and caused their illustrious hosts more than their fair share of problems.

It has not been a happy return to the Premier League for QPR and they have just a single win to their names and that was at home to Sunderland back in August. They are on a run of 3 games without a win and have lost all 3 away games so far this season and are on a run of 8 Premier League games without a win going back to when they were last in the top flight. In fact it is just 1 win in 15 Premier League matches for the Hoops now.

On what I’ve seen of late, you have to fancy West Ham for a win, they’ve looked good going forward and are scoring goals. QPR have been better in their recent games though, grabbing a solid point at home to Stoke and only just losing to Southampton.
