Wednesday Night Betting Tips

Hull v Reading – Hull win

There's no news on Brian McDermott yet after he was rumoured to be announced as the new Reading manager following Steve Clarke's departure. The Royals have really struggled of late and they need some new ideas quickly to get them out of their current blip. It doesn't get any easier here as they travel to the KC Stadium. Hull have conceded just five goals at home all season and two of those were recently to high flying Derby County. Middlesbrough may be streaking ahead in terms of clean sheets, but Hull are not far behind having claimed ten shutouts this campaign. After two defeats, Hull got back on track with a hard fought 1-0 win against Bolton at the weekend and it was the perfect fixture to prevent three consecutive poor results. Reading haven't won on the road since the 26th September and have lost their last four away games in the Championship.

Whitehawk v Dagenham & Redbrige – Whitwhawk (+1) Handicap

Whitehawk provided the story of the FA Cup 2nd round with their last gasp equaliser which sent their manager and fans into delirium. Steve King went mad as his side earned a replay and will host League Two Dagenham. I think the away side are very sueptible here as Dagenham have not been playing well and are stuggling at the bottom end of the league. They haven't won in their last five and Whitehawk will be determined to book their place in the 3rd Round and to host Everton. It's a huge incentive for both of these clubs and I don't think Dagenham will fancy it. The price is short, but it covers the 0-0 and the Daggers may sneak through on penalties if it gets that far. In the 90 minutes, I think Whitehawk can get a positive result.

Eupen v Antwerp – Under 2.5 goals

It's off the Belgian second league for this match involving two in-form sides as Eupen host Antwerp. Antwerp scored three in their last away match but that was against Coxyde but their opponents are out of form and have conceded 39 goals already this season. This will be a ot closer as both sides have excellent defensive records with Antwerp only conceding five goals all season Eupen have conceded a few more, 18 from 17 goals, but they've only conceded one in their last five matches and kept four clean sheets of late. Both sides have only lost one of their last eight games and neither side will want to surrender their recent good record.

Bradford Park Avenue v Curzon – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Down to the National League North for this one as Bradford Park Avenue host Curzon. Bradford have scored in every home match this season and both sides have scored in 11 of their 18 matches this season. They've kept four clean sheets this season, the last of those was against low scoring Lowestoft Town. They've scored nine goals in their last four matches and three each in their last two. The goals are flowing for the home side. Curzon are the visitors, who have been a bit sporadic of late. Two of their last four games have gone overs, including a 4-0 win and a 2-2 draw. They've conceded twice in three of their last foru away matches and this one may be another high scorer.
