This is a great deal, Tiger and Rory will go off favourite and second favourite, so have a crack on a potential winner at a bigger price and if EITHER of those players wins get your stake returned to you!  Click here to take up the offer

With the chance of thunderstorms in round 1 I have split my selection with 1 going out early, one mid-round and 2 late, hoping that 1 of our selections will catch the best of the conditions, and capitalise on them!

Russell Henley 125/1 EW- Betvictor

A nice early start, so if the thunderstorms don’t arrive until later Russell will be happily having a bite to eat and a sneaky shandy in the clubhouse and hopefully for us with a 65 under his belt!!  A player with 10 or more Amateur rounds around Augusta which is rare which should mean he is less affected by being a rookie – Excellent putter who is long enough to score on the Par 5’s and hits plenty of greens in regulation.

Nicolas Colsaerts 80/1 EW- Betvictor

The Belgium bomber (out mid-round) may lack the consistency, certainly with the putter, to challenge this week, and is also a rookie – But I see no reason why he can’t lead after round 1.  Leading the PGA tour in driving distance, which will be even more of an asset if the course is soft after rain, leaving spongy fairways; Colsaerts hits plenty of greens in regulation so if the flat stick behaves he has every chance of leading after 18.

Branden Grace 125/1 EW- Betvictor

No stand out form this year, tough to match his form of last year when he won 4 times on the European tour.  Price is too big for a player this talented who can hit long drives, hits plenty of greens and most importantly can hole putt after putt when his confidence is high, has been very positive about going to the Masters on twitter so despite poor current form I think his attitude will be spot on.  The first of two later starters, may end up finishing late OR on Friday morning but this unknown can help or hinder – hard to say.

Fredrik Jacobsen 100/1 EW- Betvictor

Not a long hitter, might struggle on some of the longer Par 4’s; so why pick him, well here’s why – he has a magical short game and can scramble from anywhere, this is incredibly important at Augusta with all the tricky run off areas and lightening quick greens, over 72 holes his lack of power might tell, over 18 it’s less of a concern.  If the ground is soft after storms it may hinder him, but at this price a putter of his caliber is worth a small risk, also out late like Grace.
