Next up is a high class 1m4f handicap filled with local connections hoping to strike with OASIS FANTASY (11/1 SkyBet).  Part owned by John Dunlop this horse has the typical profile to step-up and win a race like this at a venue where he has C&D winning form, and has clearly been aimed at this contest.  Second Step, Kings Fete and Satellite look progressive types who are well worth a mention.

3.15 Goodwood

Next up is the Group 1 Nassau Stakes and it is a rare foray here for Alain De Royer-Dupre who brings over NARNIYN (7/2 Betfred) from France.  She was unlucky in the Group 1 Gran Prix De Saint Cloud and that was a stronger race than this.  Venus De Milo ideally needs further and Mango Diva will need to step-up along with Sultanina

3.50 Goodwood

28 line up for this year’s renewal of the Stewards Cup however I feel that it may well be a weak renewal and the lightly raced SHROPSHIRE (25/1 bet365) could return from a lay off to take this.  It has been a long time since we have seen the horse but he always performs well when fresh.  Despite being finishing fourteenth last year, his previous form is high class and William Buick is a positive jockey booking.  Ninjago, Arnold Lane and Hoodna complete the shortlist.
