FREE HORSE RACING TIPS: Last month’s Paddy Power Gold Cup could hold the key here as the first three home that day – Annacotty, Buywise and Sound Investment – all line up again. There should not be much between them again here, but with a slight weight pull the Evan Williams-trained BUYWISE (e/w) (Bet here at 8/1 with Bet365) is the each-way call. The horse was only beaten ½ a length last time and seems to love it at Cheltenham – his form figures at Prestbury Park read an impressive 5-1-5-4-2 from his last five runs at the track and all in competitive races.

2.25 – Albert Bartlett Novices´ Hurdle (Registered as The Bristol Novices´ Hurdle) (Grade 2) Cl1 3m CH4

7/11 – Won over 3m (hurdles) before
7/11 – Irish bred
7/11 – Won last time out
7/11 – Priced 2/1 or shorter in the betting
6/11 – Went onto finish in the top 4 in a Cheltenham Festival race that season
6/11 – Won at Cheltenham before
2/11 – Trained by Jonjo O’Neill
The average winning SP in the last 9 runnings is 10/3

FREE HORSE RACING TIPS: Some big yards on show here, but the Harry Fry-trained UNOWHATIMEMEANHARRY (Bet here at 6/4 with Betfair) is the call. The horse has dotted up the last twice, including two runs ago here at Cheltenham and with the yard going great guns is taken to land the three-timer.

3.00 – StanJames.com International Hurdle (Grade 2) Cl1 2m1f CH4

13/13 – Ran within the last 6 weeks
13/13 – Finished in the top 3 in their latest race
13/13 – Ran over hurdles at Cheltenham previously
11/13 – Won 4 or more times over hurdles previously
11/13 – Won over 2m1f (hurdles) previously
11/13 – Won by a horse aged 7 years-old or younger
11/13 – Raced in the Champion Hurdle later that season (5 placed)
10/13 – Favourites (1 joint)
10/13 – Placed favourite
10/13 – Won last time out
10/13 – Returned 5/2 or shorter
9/13 – Won over hurdles at Cheltenham previously
8/13 – Won by a horse aged either 4 or 5 years-old
8/13 – Rated 162 or higher
7/13 – Winning distance:  4+ lengths
5/13 – Won the Greatwood Hurdle last time out
4/13 – Won by a French-bred horse
3/13 – Ridden by jockey Richard Johnson
3/13 – Trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies
3/13 – Trained by Philip Hobbs
3/13 – Won the Betfair Hurdle last time out
2/13 – Won by an Irish-trained horse
2/13 – Won by trainer Nicky Henderson
1/13 – Won the Champion Hurdle later that season (Rooster Booster 2002)
The New One won this race in 2013 & 2014
The average winning SP in the last 10 runnings is 11/4

FREE HORSE RACING TIPS: The unbeaten Peace And Co will be popular after his Triumph Hurdle win here at the Festival last March, but OLD GUARD (Bet here at 4/1 with Paddy Power) might be the value against Nicky Henderson’s horse. The Paul Nicholls-trained horse has looked a different horse this season – a lot stronger – and after two decent wins at the track is taken to continue his winning run. His recent win in the Greatwood Hurdle here was a solid effort and with another step forward should go close again here – if he does, then a possible tilt at the Champion Hurdle is on the cards later in the season.

3.35 – OLBG Mares´ Handicap Hurdle Cl2 2m4f56y CH4

No previous runnings
Venetia Williams is just 2 from 56 (4%) with her hurdlers here
Harry Fry has a 19% record with his hurdlers here
Kim Bailey is 0 from 27 with his hurdlers here
Dr Richard Newland is 0 from 25 with his hurdlers here
Nico de Boinville has a 33% record riding over hurdles here
Sean Bowen has a 27% record riding over hurdles here

FREE HORSE RACING TIPS: Not a lot to go on here, but former Gold Cup winning jockey Nico de Boinville has a 33% record riding over hurdles at Cheltenham so his mount – BROXBOURNE (Bet here at 5/1 with William Hill) – catches the eye. This Nicky Henderson-trained 6 year-old was a fair flat performer for Mark Johnston and has already made into a decent hurdler too. She heads here off the back of a nice 5 length win at Aintree last month and a 5lb rise for that victory doesn’t look too harsh.

Doncaster Horse Racing Trends (C4/ATR)

2.05 – Bet365 Summit Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 2) Cl1 2m110y CH4

Five previous runnings
5/5 – Placed in the top 2 last time out
5/5 – Carried 11-2 or more in weight
3/5 – Ran within the last 4 weeks
2/5 – Trained by John Quinn
2/5 – Ridden by Dougie Costello
1/5 – Favourites
Peace and Co won the race 12 months ago and went onto with the Triumph Hurdle
John Ferguson has a 32% record with his hurdlers at the track
Dan Skelton is just 1 from 25 (4%) with his hurdles at the track

FREE HORSE RACING TIPS: Only 6 runners but with a decent 32% record with his hurdlers at the track then we’ll take a chance on John Ferguson’s ROBERTSTOWN (Bet here at SP with 888SPORT), who was a fair flat performer for Jim Bolger in Ireland and, therefore, might just have too much toe for this lot.

2.40 – bet365 December Novices´ Chase (Grade 2) Cl1 3m CH4

Only 5 previous runnings
Last two runnings won by trainer Paul Nicholls
4/5 – Priced 9/4 or shorter in the betting
4/5 – Favourites
4/5 – Aged 5 or 6 years-old
Paul Nicholls has a 29% record with his chasers here

FREE HORSE RACING TIPS: Trainer Paul Nicholls has won the last two runnings of this race so with that in mind his IT’S A CLOSE CALL (Bet here at SP With Bet365), who won well last time out, is the call to carry on the yard’s cracking record in the race.

3.15 – bet365 Handicap Hurdle Cl2 2m140y

5 previous runnings
5/5 – Aged 5 or older
4/5 – Raced in the last 6 weeks
3/5 – Rated between 123-127
3/5 – Placed 1st or 2nd last time out
3/5 – Aged 5 years-old
3/5 – Favourites that finished second
3/5 – Won carrying between 11-0 and 11-3
3/5 – Returned 9/2 or shorter in the betting
2/5 – Trained by Nicky Henderson
John Ferguson has a 32% record with his hurdlers at the track

FREE HORSE RACING TIPS: ARTISTO DU PLESSIS (Bet here at SP with Skybet) has been ultra impressive in recent wins and can take another step forward here – looks a big player and could even be a bit better than this grade.
