Derby to beat Bournemouth 8/11:

It’s hotting up in the race for the Premier League positions and Derby are leading the charge on the top two. Unbeaten in six Derby have found their stride just at the right time under Steve Mclaren who are now only two points away from Burnley in the second automatic promotion spot. They play Bournemouth who are treading water. They won’t go down this season, or get near the play-offs, and haven’t won in the last eight. Derby need this win a lot more.

Scunthorpe to beat Portsmouth 10/11:

Scunthorpe are difficult to beat and have just about been keeping themselves in the race having not lost in ten, although six of those ten games ended in a draw. They proved their grit coming from two goals down to beat Accrington Stanley in their last game and re-found their scoring ability. They come up against a Portsmouth side who will just be glad they are not mentioned in the relegation battle. Their form is inconsistent of late but their away form is one of the worst in the divisions having only secured two away wins all season.

Chesterfield to beat Wycombe Evens:

Chesterfield have to look a long way down to find Wycombe, nearly the whole of the league separating them. It’s very tight at the top, Chesterfield at the summit three points ahead of Scunthorpe, but only four points ahead of a play-off position. Wycombe are one place above the drop zone and need to find something in the late stages of the season having not won in nine.

Fleetwood to beat Mansfield 6/4:

Mansfield have only won three of their fourteen home games this season, and host one of the best away sides in the division. Fleetwood have notched up eight wins away from home and occupy a play-off position. However, due to their exploits in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, they have a few games in hand and can move into an automatic promotion spot should they continue to win.

Hartlepool to beat Northampton 13/8:

Northampton are bottom of League two and look like slipping out of the football league unless their fortunes change. Hartlepool haven’t lost in four winning two of those games against the teams around them, they should prove too much for the Cobblers who have only won three of their thirteen home games this season.

Peterborough however have bounced back after losing four on the bounce and have only lost one in their last five and sit in the last play-off position. The league’s top scorer Britt Assombalonga the key man if Peterborough are to win.

Aldershot to beat Hyde 8/13:

With only one win in the last ten Hyde sit rock bottom of the conference, amassing only eight points from thirty-three games. Aldershot haven’t fared great this season however do find themselves just outside of the relegation zone with a game in hand. Aldershot have proved difficult to beat recently having only lost three in their last ten. 

Rotherham to beat Carlisle 21/20:

Carlisle look to be comfortably in mid-table at 14^th but they are only five points from safety. Two good wins last time out against tougher opposition but Rotherham have won five of their last six and will be hopeful staying in the play-off places.
