Monday Night Betting Tips 

Bilbao B v Zaragoza – Both Teams to Score? No 

Starting off in the Segunda Division tonight and we're looking at two teams who are a little goal shy. Bilbao B are without a goal in their last three games whilst Zaragoza have not scored in their last three on the road. Despite not scoring, Zaragoza are also pretty handy at the back having kept seven clean sheets this season with three of those being away from home. Bibao B are pretty solid too, having kept six clean sheets and these have been mainly in front of the home fans. They;ve only shipped two goals at home all season and with Zaragoza being impotent of late, it seems unlikely that total will be added to here. Only four of Zaragoza's games have featured both teams scoring, so I think we'll see at least one clean sheet here. 

 

Hapoel Haifa v Maccabi Haifa – Both Teams to Score? No 

Expect this one to be tight with the away side possibly emerging victorious. Maccabi Haifa have kept six clean sheets this season, including four in their last eight games. A 2-2 draw against Hapoel Raanana would be  worry, but when you conider that the opposition are the second highest scorers in the league AND have the 4th worst defence in the division, it begins to explain that result. Maccabi Haifa are very good defensively and have conceded just 11 goals all season. Two of those were to top scorers and Champions League competitors Maccabi Tel Aviv. Maccabi don't score too many goals either just 19 so far and I think this one might see them keep another clean sheet. 

 

Dusseldorf v Braunschweig – Under 2.5 goals 

It's 15th v 6th in Bundesliga II on Monday night. Dusseldorf are the lowest scorers in the league and they've only hit three goals in their last four home games. In that same period, they've also only conceded twice. Braunschwieg are slightly more potent having hit eight goals in their last four away matches, but five of those were in one match against Duisburg, that was all the way back on the 23rd September. They rely on a decent defence though and although they've shipped four goals in their last two away outings, they were against top scorers and the two best home sides in the league in the shape of Freiburg and Nurnberg. This is much easier opposition to contain and having only conceded six goals away (four of them to the aforementioned top class opposition) With nine clean sheets and a lack of Dusseldorf goals, this one should fall under 2.5

 

Hitchin Town v Paulton Rovers – Over 2.5 goals

We're off down to the Southern Premier Division for this fixture and we fancy a few goals. Paulton Rovers are struggling down the bottom end of the table and in two of their last four away games, they've lost 4-0 and 6-0. They've conceded in each of their last four away games and with Hitchin Town's 25 goals this season at home, they might be shipping a few more here. 73 % of Hitchin's home matches have gone over 2.5 goals whilst the same has happened in 64% of Paulton's away matches. Hitchin have only failed to score once whilst they've also only kept one clean sheet. Both Teams have scored in 15 of Histon's 23 matches this season and although Paulton aren't high scorers, they've found the net in six of their last eight.
