The Monaco Grand Prix takes place this weekend and there is betting odds for who will finish on Pole Position for the famous race in the F1 calendar.
The Monaco Grand Prix is the race that every Formula One driver wants to win and Saturday’s qualification session will provide some drivers with a distinct advantage over their rivals ahead of the show piece on Sunday.
In the latest betting odds, Lewis Hamilton (5/2 with Ladbrokes) is favourite to start the race from the front of the grid. Current Championship leader Sebastian Vettel is second favourite at a top price of 3/1 (Betfred) alongside Hamilton’s Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg, at 7/2.
Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso is a best betting odds of 9/1 with Ladbrokes while Mark Webber is a point further back at 10/1 (Betfred).
Of the current crop of Formula One drivers, Alonso and Webber are the most successful around the famous Monaco circuit with two wins each while McLaren dominate the constructors stakes with 15 victories, seven more than their nearest rivals Ferrari.
Mark Webber was on pole position last season and thrives around this track, his price of 10/1 will have its supporters and the bookmakers may well be keen to shorten up closer to the time. However with Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton getting a fine tune out of their cars in qualifying, it could be one of these two that start from the front in Monaco and Lewis Hamilton is the worthy favourite giving his aggressive style around the tight corners of Monaco.
Monaco Grand Prix Pole Position Odds:
Lewis Hamilton 5/2, Sebastian Vettel 3/1, Nico Rosberg 7/2, Fernando Alonso 9/1, Mark Webber 10/1, 14/1 Bar. See all odds here.
