Despite, having the reputation as an attacking manager Martinez showed away at Anfield that he is pragmatic manager who is willing to set up defensively to frustrate an opponent. Manchester United have a lack of strength in the middle of the park Everton will likely copy the tactic that served them well at Anfield by playing a strong midfield three of McCarthy, Besic and Barry.
