The Etihad is the venue for the first Manchester derby of the season as City host United in the 4pm kick off and we have got free betting tips for today's match.

Interestingly however, David Moyes' team have dropped points in their two biggest games of the season so far, Losing 1-0 to Liverpool and drawing 0-0 against Chelsea the previous week, but did manage to rack up comfortable wins against Swansea and Crystal Palace respectively.

Wayne Rooney has scored three goals in his last two, including netting a brace in that victory over Leverkusen on Tuesday, and is well worth a look in the betting odds to score in this outing. The English talisman also scored twice in this fixture last season, and usually rises to the big ocassion.

In the two games last season between these teams, the away side won by a single goal on both ocassions.

Both these teams may have to settle for a draw however, which in my opinion looks to be the best bet in this keenly awaited derby.
