Liverpool v Tottenham Betting Tips and Preview

Liverpool v Tottenham betting tips and predictions for Tuesday night’s Premier League match, shown live on BT Sport.

Two of the five teams who are chasing Champions League football meet at Anfield on Tuesday night in what looks like it could be a real cracker of a game and we have free football betting tips and predictions for the 8pm kick-off. Spurs have won their last three games in the league, the most recent being a Harry Kane inspired victory over Arsenal, whilst Liverpool are unbeaten since mid-December in the league.

In the latest betting odds for Liverpool v Spurs, Liverpool are favourites at 17/20 with Sky Bet, the draw is 29/10 with Bet365 and Spurs are a tempting 7/2 with Bet Victor.

Lucas looks unlikely to play for Liverpool having picked up a groin strain in the Merseyside derby, despite picking up knocks Sterling and Coutinho could feature for Liverpool and Daniel Sturridge may be handed a start. Adam Lallana could feature at some point having overcome his most recent injury. Spurs have no fresh injury concerns.

I think this is a pretty tough game to call, both these sides are going well in the league and should have bags of confidence after good derby performances. The draw is tempting for value alone, especially when you consider these two sides are well matched. Liverpool have had the better of Spurs in their last four meetings but Spurs are coming in to this game full of confidence and with Harry Kane in their side I could see them maybe sneaking a win.

For our first Liverpool v Tottenham betting tip go with Tottenham or draw as a full-time result and the best odds are Evens with Boylesports.

When these two meet there tends to be goals, Liverpool have won the last three meetings 3-0, 4-0 and 5-0. Spurs have seen over 2.5 goals in their last eight away games. Both these sides have players capable of taking chances but I think both sides have an error or two in them, so we should see plenty of goals.

Given that we are predicting goals at Anfield, the next tip for the match is over 2.5 goals to be scored at 7/10 with William Hill.

Harry Kane has been the name on everyone’s lips after last weekend’s performance, he’s a shoo in for the England squad and is scoring for fun at the moment. With doubts over Sterling and maybe it’s too early for Sturridge to be starting a full game you have to fancy Kane as first goal scorer. Of the 12 he’s bagged this season seven of Kane’s goals have been the first in the game. I fancy him to continue this rich vein of form on Tuesday.

The best odds for Harry Kane to score first against Liverpool tonight are 13/2 with Bet365.
