Horse Racing Free Tips – Thursday 6th August

More horse racing winning tips yesterday and with another busy day on Thursday there’s plenty more horse racing today, with afternoon cards at Brighton, Wolverhampton and Haydock, while Newcastle, Southwell and Sandown provide the evening horse racing action.

Horse racing tipping expert, Andy Newton, gives you his free horse racing tips and best bets this Thursday (6th Aug) across today’s fixtures.

Today’s Horse Racing Tips

Brighton Racing Tips –

2.50 – Brighton – With a decent 28% record at the track and an even better 31% strike-rate with his 2 year-olds here then trainer James Tate is the man to follow – he runs MIRSAALAH (Bet here at 4/11 with Paddy Power). The horse was a fair second last time out at Chepstow, this looks easier and with that experience can get off the mark here.

BET NOW – MIRSAALAH

4.50 – Brighton – KITTEN’S RED (Bet here at 9/2 with Bet365) was a beaten favourite last time out at Chepstow but he was a good second here at Brighton the time before. That last run can be forgiven based on the track possibly not suiting, while in this ladies’ race Serena Brotherton is by-far the best jockey on show.

BET NOW – KITTEN’S RED

Haydock Racing Tips –

4.10 – Haydock– The William Haggas horses have been in cracking form for much of the season and they’ve got another good chance here with PYJAMA PARTY (Bet here at 4/6 with Skybet). The horse has been a shade frustrating, winning just once, but despite coming second last time pulled well clear of the third that day and comes here as the one to beat.

BET NOW – PYJAMA PARTY

4.40 – Haydock – Roger Varian horses can do little wrong at the moment and PRIVILEGED (Bet here at 2/1 with William Hill) could be another one for them here. This 3 year-old won well last time out on the AW at Chelmsford in a maiden. This return to handicap company makes life harder, but Shane Gray takes off a handy 3lbs and now she’s got her head in front can hopefully build on that.

BET NOW – PRIVILEGED

Wolverhampton RacingTips –

3.30 – Wolverhamton – Faddwa was an eye-catching CD winner here on debut, but the form of that race has taken a few knocks since. So it’s interesting Paul Hanagan comes here to ride one for his boss – ZAANEH (Bet here at 2/1 with Betfred). The horse was impressive when winning at Wetherby last time and was a fair second here the time before. She looks to be going the right way and is expected to take the beating.

BET NOW – ZAANEH

Newcastle Racing Tips –

5.30 – Newcastle – DIDDY ERIC (Bet here at 11/2 with Skybet) won this race 12 months ago and looks primed to go well again. Yes, he’s 6lbs higher this time and probably needs a career-best, but the horse has been running well without winning lately and is one of just a few proven CD runners in the line-up here. Any rain would be a plus.

BET NOW – DIDDY ERIC (e/w)

7.10 – Newcastle – Diane Sayer’s SERGEANT PINK (Bet here at 7/2 with Betfred) won well on Monday – a race he took 12 months ago, before also winning this race too. So he’s looking for a unique double-double in the same two races he won 12 months ago. Yes, a 6lb penalty makes life harder but the horse is clearly in great heart and in a race that doesn’t look the best at least heads here in tip-top order.

BET NOW – SERGEANT PINK

Sandown Racing Tips –

7.25 – Sandown – The Sir Michael Stoute team took this in 2008 and look to have another decent chance – this time with INDELIABLE INK (Bet here at 5/1 with 888 Sport). The horse won here 2 weeks ago by a narrow margin, but showed a great attitude to hold on that day and a 4lb rise doesn’t look too harsh.

BET NOW – INDELIABLE INK

8.25 – Sandown – HOT MUSTARD (Bet here at 3/1 with Bet365) has been knocking on the door of late and William Muir’s charge looks to have another great chance of going close. The horse has not been out of the top two in his last five starts and pulled clear of the third last time out when beaten just a head at Windsor.

BET NOW – HOT MUSTARD

Southwell Raicng Tips –

7.00 –Southwell – Showboating was an impressive winner last time out, but has to defy a 6lb rise for that win so is overlooked with IAN’S MEMORY (Bet here at 15/8 with 888Sport) preferred. This Jeremy Noseda-trained 4 year-old should have more to come being this is just his 9th career run. He’s won here on the surface and was a nice winner at Kempton last time out too, while the yard have a decent 38% record with their runners here.

BET NOW – IAN’S MEMORY

8.05 – Southwell – POETIC LICENSE (Bet here at 4/1 with Skybet) is the call here. From the Mark Prescott team the horse looks like being one of their typical improvers and it’s interesting they sport the first-time blinkers in this 3 year-old. Looks to have the Godolphin horse to beat.

BET NOW – POETIC LICENSE
