Golf Betting Tips & Preview- The Honda Classic 2014 – Our man @chrismunney is fed up with his run of runner up finishers, his 4 picks this week look good to me for a classic PGA tour event this week, good luck all.
 
Not even going to count how many 2nd place finishes we’ve had in 2014. Let’s get it rolling with a win!
 
Event
 
The PGA TOUR finally leaves the west coast and we get right into the Florida swing. This week, 72 holes of golf will be played at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach, FL. The Honda Classic has been played at this course since 2007 and has been a tournament on Tour since 1972 when it was known as Jackie Gleason’s Inverrary Classic. The players will play at the Champion Course at the resort which is a par 70, 7000+ yard track. The course was originally designed by Tom & George Fazio, but was redesigned in 2002 by Jack Nicklaus. The 1983 Ryder Cup was held here as well as the 1987 PGA Championship. This is a much tougher course than we've seen on TOUR recently as only 17 players finished under par here last year.

Notes: Holes 15-17, known as the Bear Trap. One of the toughest stretches of holes in golf.
 
Pretty strong field this week with Tiger, Rory, Adam Scott, Henrik Stenson, Sergio, and Phil all in the field. We want to look at some good ball strikers here as there are hazards and trouble everywhere. Keeping the ball dry will be key this week. Bogey avoidance will be important as well. This week will be much tougher and players that can avoid the big number will have a good chance.
 
Selections
 
 
Keegan has an excellent track record here at the Champion course. He has improved each of the 3 times he’s played here and finished 4th. Keegan is a good ball striker and is currently 11th in bogey avoidance.
 
 
G Mac played pretty well this past week at the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship. He also has 3 top 10s in his past 3 appearances here. He is rounding into form and should be in contention this week
 
 
Such a short price, but Rory is really starting to turn his game around. 3 top 10s in his last 3 appearances this season. He also won this tournament in 2012. I expect big things from Rory this year and this could be a start.
 
 
Charl is yet another player with a great record here with a top 15 finish in every appearance. Charl sometimes loses form at random times
but is playing well as of late.
