Free US Open 2013 Match Betting Tips – Day 2

My first US Open tip is Daniel Gimeno-Traver over Yen-Hsun Lu. I expected the prices to be near pick-em to be honest! So the 2/1 on Gimeno-Traver seems very generous in my opinion.

I can barely split them and their rankings illustrates this being ranked 60 and 61. Daniel Gimeno-Traver is more comfortable on the clay courts but lately has shown he can prevail on the hard stuff too. Taking sets off Dolgopolov, something Lu couldn't do the other week, and a set off Berdych. 

They both have pretty poor records in best of 5 set matches, Lu is 3-7 and DTG is 7-19. Although Lu has a pretty bad record in the US Open too, 3-10, albeit he has had tough draws. I still can't justify the 1.4 price on Lu, not much separates them in my book.

Recommendation –  Back Daniel Gimeno-Traver @2/1 with Skybet
