Silviniaco Conti showed once again that Cheltenham isn't his favourite track when flopping in the Gold Cup. He wasn't given a hard time once his chance was gone which, with the return to a flatter track will benefit him. On his King George run he will be a very tough nut for his rivals to crack.

3.25pm Aintree – Rock On Ruby

While Arctic Fire and Jezki were slogging it out in the Champion Hurdle, Rock On Ruby was at home after a dirty scope. The freshness might just work in his favour with Jezki having plenty to prove after a flat Cheltenham run and Arctic Fire likely to have his stamina truly tested.
