Expert Cheltenham Festival betting tips for Thursday 13th March 2014 on the back of Paul Nicholls talking about his best horses on day three of Cheltenham.

Paul Nicholls has been talking to Betfair about his horses on their way to the 2014 Cheltenham Festival and from that we can determine which horses he fancies to win at the Festival.

Nicholls looks set to be mob handed for day four of the Cheltenham Festival so hopefully we can find some expert Cheltenham tips from his video.

The first horse mentioned is Wonderful Charm (6/1 William Hill) who is second favourite for the JLT Novices Hurdle. He had a great first season and just failed when giving weight to Oscar Whiskey who will reoppose here. Wonderful Charm goes well fresh and will not want the ground too soft. He is our long time JLT Novices Hurdle betting tip and we are expecting a big run.

Al Ferof (9/2 Sportingbet) was the horse Paul Nicholls was most bullish about when going through his Cheltenham tips and you can see why. He was third in the King George and the Ryanair Chase looks the perfect race for this horse.

Rather surprisingly Nicholls was very brief when talking about Big Bucks (5/2 Betfred) and his World Hurdle challenge. Nicholls has said previously he is his NAP of the Festival but with Annie Power now set to contest the World Hurdle as well, the former champion could have his work cut out.

Zarkandar (14/1 Paddy Power) is one of Paul Nicholls’ favourite inmates and he has said the horse is dying for a run over 3 miles. He will oppose Big Bucks and Annie Power in the World Hurdle but has a chance. He has chased home Annie Power twice when giving her weight and the drying ground will be a bonus.

Another Nicholls horse set for the World Hurdle is Celestial Halo (20/1 Sky Bet) who was not fully wound up when beaten at Haydock recently. He needed that run and Nicholls said he will come on enormously for that.

The final horse to give a quick mention to who is on its way to the Cheltenham Festival 2014 is There’s No Panic (16/1 Bet365) who will go in the last race on day three, the Kim Muir as long as the ground is good.

From what Paul Nicholls has said he is really keep on Al Ferof and makes him the best Cheltenham tip for Thursday 13th March. He looks primed for the Ryanair and looks set to go well. Elsewhere Wonderful Charm seems in good order and that could be another Paul Nicholls winner on day three of the Cheltenham Festival.
