Everton v Spurs Betting Tips

There's some great matches this New Years weekend and this one is no exception. Both teams play great attacking football, scoring 68 goals between them already this season, and I think there'll be a few goals in this one too. It's tough to call the result.

The first half of the season has been a good one for Spurs. They sit in fourth place and their aim of getting into next seasons Champions League looks likely if they can keep up their form. Since the surprise 2-1 defeat to Newcastle they've won the last three, including an away win at in-form Watford last time out. As for Everton, they sit in eleventh but are only four points off sixth which goes to show how close this Premier League season has been so far. They've lost the last two home games though, a 3-2 defeat to Leicester and a last minute penalty gave Stoke all three points in a seven goal thriller on Monday.

Everton are missing a few for this one, this game comes too soon for Phil Jagielka and James McCarthy is out after coming off early in that defeat to the Potters. Tom Cleverly is doubtful along with Steven Pienaar and Bryan Oviedo.

Tottenham are without Mousa Dembele and Clinton Njie but Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb are pushing for starts after returning from injury.

Both Everton and Spurs have strikers who have been outstanding this season. For Everton, Romelu Lukaku has been in red hot form, he's joint top of the goalscoring charts having scored an impressive 15 goals already. For Spurs, Harry Kane was the leading Premier League goalscorer of 2015, scoring 27 times, 11 of which have come this season. Both players have scored 10 in the last nine games and are both the subject of my first betting tip. I'm going for both Lukaku and Kane to score in this one,

The first of our Everton v Spurs betting tips is for both Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane to score. It can backed at 7/2 with Paddy Power

The fans at Goodison Park have seen plenty of goals so far this season, both for and against the Toffees. There's been 26 goals in Evertons' last six home games and I think they'll be a few in this too. Tottenham do have an excellent defensive record, the best in the league in fact having conceded just 15 goals so far, but I think with Lukaku in top form and the likes of Gerard Deulofeu pulling the strings they'll struggle not to concede. I'm going in the Overs market for my second betting tip.

The second of our Everton v Spurs betting tips is for over 3.5 goals. It can be backed at 21/10 with Betvictor

With the goalscoring form of both sides I'm confident that my third tip will come in. Get on both teams to score in both halves.

The third of our Everton v Spurs betting tips is for Both Teams to Score in Both Halves. It's 9/1 with Coral
