Bologna V Inter (INTER WIN)

The Stadio Renato Dall'Ara hosts a match that might actually produce a thrilling encounter, with both goals being scored at either end. Bologna invite Internazionale in hope of scraping three points as they loom over the relegation zone, one point away from strugglers, Sampdoria. It will be a tough task, as Internazionale lie in fourth position. The blue side of Milan have eventually found form and are currently unbeaten in five games, winning their last two, one being an impressive away 3-0 against Udinese. Milan are also capable of scoring, as shown in these last five games, fifteen times the blue and blacks have found the net. I’m predicting the points will be taken back to Milan as their aim of gaining access into Europe next season, is finally coming a light.

Hamburg V Hannover (HAMBURG WIN)

Once upon a time a couple of seasons ago, Hamburg used to be a strong and fearful outfit in the German Bundersliga. But this season, is telling a new story, and one that the fans of Hamburger will want to try and edit the ending before its too late. Hamburg currently hover in unfamiliar territory, 14th position, four points off the dreaded drop zone.  But this weekend will see Hannover 96 arrive, a team that also is struggling and slowly falling down the positions. Hannover have failed to win in their last six games, and most recently against Eintracht Braunschweig that resulted in a 0-0 result. Hannover 96 are the only team so far that have failed to score against one of the worst defences in the league (Eintracht Braunschweig). Both of these teams do share a common style, when they score, they cannot hold onto the lead. I’m sure goals will be plenty in this one, but Hamburg look the stronger the team and will have to take advantage of the dismal Hannover 96 form.

Lille V Toulouse (LILLE WIN)

The French Ligue 1 is showing a surprise this season, we have seen AS Monaco struggle in multiple games and are trying to hang on 3rd position. The new entry: Nantes, have had a huge home and away support so far and the team lie in 4th position. But the best shock so far, is that Lille are sitting in 2nd position, only four points behind the giants: PSG. Lille have shown strong form this season, consistent performances both home and away. They are unbeaten in five games, winning four of them and are sure to welcome Toulouse, whom have failed to find their feet so far this season. Toulouse sit in the middle of the table, even though a win or a point may boost a position or two, the purple outfit have failed to find a stronghold in their last two games.  This is a great opportunity for Lille to rank up the pressure on the capital.

FC Groningen V PEC Zwolle (Groningen WIN)

Groningen will play ball with Eredivise new comers, PEC Zwolle over the weekend with hope of improving their position, building the pressure on the top three. Groningen are currently at their peak, and they will be full of confidence after being unbeaten from five games. Within these games, Groningen have beaten Eredivise expected table toppers, PSV and gained a fine draw against league leaders, Vitesse. PEC Zwolle also sit in a comfortable position, they sit in 7th with potential of going 5th or higher if results go their way over the weekend. However, with Groningen’s willingness to score two or more on average over their last five games, I’m predicting the points will be going to green jerseys

Gornik Zagbre V Podbeskidzie (Gornik WIN)

It may look like an odd pick and most certainly a tongue twister when pronouncing the team names, but Gornik are proving to be hard to handle in the Polish premier league. The team from Zagbre are in 2nd position and are only three points off ex Europa League candidates: Legia Warsaw. They have won three of their last five games and are also above the well-known Polish team: Wisla Krakow. Podbeskidize will be their opponents on Sunday, who will need to find something in this match, as they are stuck in mud, rooted at the bottom of the division. Podbeskidzie have lost four of their last five games and have only gained two victories this season so far. Both goals and points should go to Gornik. If Legia lose against Pogon, the small town of Gornik will be full of delight.
