2.05 Sandown

ECCLESTON (10/1 Coral) will be happy to get his toe in again having won over C&D in April on soft ground. That was his first run of the season so coming here fresh could be a huge plus. Jamaican Bolt enjoys plenty of give and is looking dangerously handicapped.

2.20 Chester

BALLESTEROS (8/1 Ladbrokes) looks about to hit peak form judging on his Ascot effort last time. He has won on his only visit to Chester and is very well handicapped. Both B Fifty Two and Lexi's Hero are recent course winners with cut in the ground and are respected.

2.25 Beverley

Yet another 5f sprint, this time with KINGSGATE NATIVE (5/1 William Hill) might finally get the win he deserves this season after having been so consistent. Pearl Secret is the pick at the weights but would ideally like a lot of rain while a penalty makes things tougher for Rocky Ground.

2.40 Sandown

AKTABANTAY (2/1 bet365) possesses the best form on offer, finishing runner-up last time out in a Group 2 at Newmarket. He, like Future Empire, have a little bit to prove on this surface but gets the vote on what he has achieved so far

2.55 Chester

RUSSIAN RELAM (8/1 William Hill) will appreciate being back on softer ground and the turning track might be suitable given his Goodwood win earlier in the season. Ocean Tempest has a lot of weight but is a class act and is well drawn to attack from the off.

3.15 Sandown

FINTRY (6/4 Coral) looks hard to oppose as she bids to make a successful raid on these shores for Andre Fabre. A mile on soft is perfect with the only slight doubt, the absence since her last run. Odeliz looks the biggest threat having shown great consistency in similar races this season.

3.30 Chester

WHIPLASH WILLIE (4/1 Ladbrokes) might finally get ground soft enough for him to take his chance and as such gets the nod. Big Orange is a potentially interesting improver for Michael Bell.

3.50 Sandown

CLON BRULEE (8/1 bet365) was impressive last time in a small field, this is more taxing but the talented Mikey Ennis takes off seven of the eight pound rise for that win. A Haydock run would have blown away any cobwebs for Tres Coronas with underfoot conditions perfect for this old stager.
