Ascot Shergar Cup Betting Trends & Stats

Another big horse racing day at Ascot racecourse this Saturday (8th August 2015) as top jockeys from around the world compete over six races for the Shergar Cup. To help you find a few winners we've listed the key Shegar Cup trends and stats for all the races, plus all the best bookmaker betting offers.

How Does The Shergar Cup Work?

Twelve jockeys are split into four teams – these are based on their presenting countries or region. There are six races during the fixture, and all jockeys must ride in five of them. Each jockey is then awarded points based on their finishing positions in each race. The team with the highest points being the winner. The race also gives the Silver Saddle award to the individual jockey with the most overall points.
