PEACE AND CO (9/4 Coral) has headed the market since running riot at Doncaster in December.  He ripped Barry Geraghty's arms out for most of the journey last time but still had enough in reserve to see off a decent yardstick in Karezak by three lengths whilst giving away 3lbs.  A stronger pace here should help him settle better and, although short in the market, is by far the most likely winner.

Hargam is second in the betting having won the Scottish Triumph trial at Musselburgh at the start of February.  He travelled sweetly through the race and looks another smart recruit but, on a line through both Karezak and Starchitect, he has to up his game considerably to topple the favourite.

PETITE PARISIENNE (E/W) (10/1 Paddy Power) laid her cards on the table when seeing off Kalkir in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown.  Just her second hurdling start she jumped and travelled well before asserting close home.  The proximity of the third (Prussisn Eagle) marks the form down a little but both Mysilv and Snow Drop have made good use of the fillies allowance in this race in recent years.

Fiscal Focus was pitched straight into a Grade 2 on his winning debut before taking on the big boys in the Irish Champion Hurdle in just his second start. He travelled beautifully through the race and was eased when beaten in the home straight.  This is going to be much easier back against his own age group with that debut win entitling him to plenty of respect.

Dicosimo might end up as the number one Rich Ricci challenger having won impressively in the fog at Gowran.  He had to knuckle down and fight on that occasion but the further they went the better he was which bodes well for this sort of test.  Quicker ground would be a slight question mark against him but he certainly shouldn't fail for lack of stamina.

At a massive price BELTOR (E/W) (50/1 Ladbrokes) is an interesting one. He travelled extremely well when making a winning debut at Ludlow and, although the bare form of that leaves him with plenty to find, he was progressive in a light campaign on the flat.

Struggling to find a reason to oppose PEACE AND CO here with his form well above anything else in the field so far.  The bookies have been lengthening him slightly and he looks fair value at his current price.  PETITE PARISIENNE looks his current strongest challenger in receipt of the mares allowance while BELTOR is an interesting contender.
