9/13 – Had only won over 7f

4/13 – Favourites
3/13 – Trained by Aidan O’Brien
2/13 – Trained by John Gosden
The average winning SP in the last 10 years is 5/1

Note: From 2010 back the race was run at Ascot, except in 2005 (Newmarket)

FREE HORSE RACING TIP: The Aidan O’Brien yard have a cracking record in this race – winning it in 2006, 2009 and 2011 – they looks to have another big chance with the unbeaten DEAUVILLE (Bet here at 11/10 with Coral). A winner of both his starts, including in a decent Group Three last time out at Leopardstown. Foundation looks the danger.

13/13 – Had won over 6f before

9/13 – Favourites placed
7/13 – Won exactly 2 previous races
7/13 – Horses from stall 6 that finished in the top 3
7/13 – Winning distance – ½ length or less
6/13 – Favourites (1 joint)
4/13 – Winners drawn in stall 6
2/13 – Went onto win the 1,000 Guineas
2/13 – Trained by the Hannon yard
The average winning SP in the last 10 years is 4/1

FREE HORSE RACING TIP: The Hannon team took this 12 months ago and have another good chance with Illuminate, but we’ve been impressed with BESHARAH (Bet here at 5/2 with Bet365) in her recent wins and so she’s the call. William Haggas’ 2 year-old won the Lowther Stakes last time out in decent fashion, beating Lumiere into second and the yard also took this in 2012.

3.10 – Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes (Group 1) (Entire Colts) Cl1 6f CH4

12/12 – Won over 6f
11/12 – Winning distance – 2 lengths or less
11/12 – Won last time out
10/12 – Priced 8/1 or shorter
10/12 – Had raced 3 or more times
10/12 – Won at least twice
10/12 – Never raced at Newmarket (Rowley)
8/12 – Won a Group 1 or 2 race previously
8/12 – Foaled in either Feb or March
7/12 – Favourites placed
4/12 – Raced at Deauville last time out
3/12 – Won by an Irish-based stable
3/12 – Favourites
2/12 – Trained by Aidan O’Brien
1/12 – Winners that came from stall 1
The average winning SP in the last 10 years is 8/1
Aidan O’Brien won the race in – 2000, 2001, 2004 & 2011

FREE HORSE RACING TIP: This should be straight forward for SHALAA (Bet here at 4/9 with Coral). The horse has been very impressive in his last four wins with the form of his latest victory since being franked by the runner-up. Buratino can do best of the rest – Note – get a massive 6/1 on Shalaa with Paddy Power (more below)

1200x480-juddmonte-shalaa

3.50 – Betfred Cambridgeshire (Heritage Handicap) Cl2 1m1f CH4

13/13 – Aged 6 or younger
12/13 – Won 3 or more times in their career
11/13 – Won over 1m2f
11/13 – Aged between 4 and 6 years-old
10/13 – Winners from a double-figure stall
10/13 – Carried 9-3 or less in weight
9/13 – Placed 5th or better last time out
9/13 – Favourites unplaced
9/13 – Rated between 90-100
9/13 – Had 5 or more runs that season
8/13 – Returned a double (or treble) figure price in the betting
7/13 – Carried 8-12 or less in weight
5/13 – Raced at Newbury last time out
3/13 – Favourites
2/13 – Trained by John Gosden
1/13 – Won last time out
The average winning SP in the last 13 years is 21/1

FREE HORSE RACING TIP: Trainer John Gosden loves to win this race so his GM Hopkins is going to be popular with Frankie booked to ride. However, we’ll side with ABSEIL (e/w) (Bet here at 14/1 with Skybet) here, who will be hoping to become the first win in the race for both Sir Michael Stoute and jockey Ryan Moore. The horse has been lightly-raced this season with just two runs and looking at the above trends certainly ticks a lot more stats than others.

5.00 – British Stallion Studs EBF "Jersey Lily" Fillies´ Nursery Handicap Cl2 7f

11/11 – Ran in the last 6 weeks
11/11 – Won no more than twice
10/11 – Raced in the last 4 weeks
9/11 – Carried 8-8 or more in weight
9/11 – Priced 9/1 or shorter in the betting
8/11 – Won 1-2 times before
8/11 – Foaled in March
8/11 – Failed to win last time out
8/11 – Favourites unplaced
7/11 – Officially rated between 75-79
7/11 – Won over 7f before
4/11 – Irish bred
3/11 – Ran at Doncaster last time out
3/11 – Favourites
2/11 – Trained by William Haggas
2/11 – Won by Godolphin
The average winning SP in the last 10 years is 17/2

FREE HORSE RACING TIP: Not on C4 but we’ve got all the trends here. She has to give weight away all-round but Richard Hannon’s LIGHT UP OUR WORLD (Bet here at SP with 888Sport) looks interesting here. She wasn’t beaten far in a Group Two (May Hill Stakes) race last time out at Doncaster and if running to that level again will be hard to beat.

Market Rasen Free Racing Tips & Trends (C4/RUK)

2.15 – Racing Fx Prelude Hurdle Handicap Class 1 (Listed Race) Cl1 2m148y CH4

7/7 – Ran within the last 6 weeks
7/7 – Won over 2m previously
6/7 – Aged either 5 or 8 years-old
6/7 – Favourites unplaced
5/7 – Won between 2-4 times
4/7 – Returned a double-figure price in the betting
4/7 – Unplaced in their last race
4/7 – Carried 10-10 or less in weight
4/7 – Had run at Market Rasen
3/7 – Rated 122-125 (inc)
3/7 – Aged 5 years-old
3/7 – Raced on the flat last time out
2/7 – Raced at Bangor last time out
2/7 – Aged 8 years-old
0/7 – Favourites

FREE HORSE RACING TIP: Trainer John Ferguson had many entered for this race so anything he runs should be respected, but Dr Richard Newland’s GRAN MAESTRO (Bet here at SP with Paddy Power) is only 4lbs higher than when wining here back in July and a recent spin on the flat would have kept him ticking over. Manhattan Swing is another to note.

2.50 – Racing Fx Prelude Chase Handicap Class 1 (Listed Race) Cl1 2m5f89y CH4

11/11 – Aged 9 or younger
11/11 – Won over at least 2m4f
10/11 – Won between 2 and 4 times over fences
8/11 – Placed 4th or better in their last race
8/11 – Ran within the last 10 weeks
8/11 – Carried 10-9 or more in weight
7/11 – Favourites unplaced
5/11 – Rated between 123 and 125
5/11 – Aged 6 or 7 years-old
5/11 – Returned a double-figure price in the betting
4/11 – Raced at Market Rasen
4/11 – Raced a Newton Abbot last time out
3/11 – Trained by Peter Bowen
0/11 – Favourites
The average winning SP in the last 10 runnings is 12.5/1

FREE HORSE RACING TIP: A nice little race in prospect here – the Emma Lavelle team took the prize in 2013 and will be hoping to follow-up with Claret Cloak, but the Philip Hobbs yard have their horses in decent order in this early part of the season and also won this race in 2012. With that in mind their CLOUD CREEPER (Bet here at SP with Bet365) is the call. A beaten favourite last time out in May but the quicker ground will help here he’s not been out of the first two in his last six starts.
