Royal Ascot day 4 betting tips and predictions for every live race on Channel 4 on Friday 19^th June 2015.

We enter day 4 of Royal Ascot with Ryan Moore dominating the top jockey race today the three year olds get their chance to shine.

Royal Ascot Day 4 Tips:

2.30 – Jersey Breeze (each-way).

The Albany Stakes kicks us off and Jersey Breeze looks a sound each-way bet. She was third on debut at Salisbury, however, showed significant improvement to romp to victory next time out at Leicester. That was on fast ground which she’ll get again and the daughter of Dark Angel should come on leaps and bounds once again.

3.05 – Ol’ Man River.

Aidan O’Brien has had a decent Royal meeting and Ol’ Man River can give the Ballydoyle trainer another winner. He was an impressive winner of the Group 2 Beresford Stakes at the Curragh last campaign and many touted him to progress into a top-class three-year-old. That hasn’t happened as he finished last in the 2000 Guineas before beating just one home in the Dante Stakes at York. However, there’s no doubt the son of Galileo has ability and Ryan Moore has opted to take the ride over Stravagante which is a positive.

3.40 – Hootenanny.

The new Commonwealth Cup is the new race for three-year-old’s over six furlongs and Hootenanny looks a solid bet. Wesley Ward has already had a winner this week and Hootenanny looked a beast when romping to victory in the Windsor Castle Stakes at the meeting last term. He won his race in April with minimal fuss and should be too pacey for the field.

4.20 – Lucinda.

The Coronation Stakes is the highlight of day four and I think Lucida can bounce back to victory. Jim Bolger’s charge was just seen off by Legitissimo in the 1000 Guineas, however, that was on the her first start of the season and was seen off in a stamina battle. Having now brushed out the winter cobwebs, she should come on leaps and bounds and will relish the fast ground.

5.00 – Sennockian Star.

Sennockian Star was a runaway winner in a decent Chester handicap last time out and has finally found a similar rhythm that seen him rack up a mark of 106 last season. There’s still plenty of room for improvement and the booking of Silvestre De Sousa is a positive one.

5.35 – Fabricate.

I really like Fabricate in this race who can give the Queen another Royal Ascot winner. He’s had just three starts, however, the son of Makfi is on a steep upward curve. His performance at Haydock last time out was outstanding and looked as if he would relish going up in trip when off the bridle early on. His stamina got him home that day and Michael Bell’s charge can continue to improve.
