The former got the better of the argument that day although the latter found trouble in running. Most of Luca Cumani's have looked in need of the run so Cannock Chase can confirm the form.

Shifting Power kept very smart company last year, running to a very high level of form. He has won first time out in both previous campaigns so fresh seems a good time to catch him.

3.00 – Commemorative

The tight bends and rattling fast ground at Santa Anita didn't appear to suit Commemorative when last seen at the Breeders Cup. He probably isn't from the top drawer but this looks a relatively weak Group 3.
