Newmarket Horse Racing Trends and Stats (RUK/C4)

2.00 – Dubai European Breeders´ Fund Fillies´ Nursery Handicap Cl2 7f CH4

Only 1 previous running
Trainer Charlie Appleby has a 23% record with his 2 year-olds here
Trainer David Simcock is just 1 from 27 with his 2 year-olds here
Trainer Sir Michael Stoute is just 3 from 41 with his 2 year-olds here

FREE HORSE RACING TIP:  Not a lot to go on so it could pay to stick with the yard that’s got the best record here with their 2 year-olds – Charlie Appleby. He runs MISE EN ROSE (Bet here at 15/2 with Paddy Power), who was last seen running a fair third behind an improving sort at Pontefract. The return to 7f will also suit.

Kingston Hill won this race in 2013
The average winning SP in the last 9 years is 9/1
Note: From 2009 back the race was staged at ASCOT, while the 2005 running was at Salisbury

FREE HORSE RACING TIP:  Gifted Master is feared here, but the Charles Hills team took this race 12 months ago and look to have another good chance this year – this time with IBN MALIK (Bet here at 11/4 with Ladbrokes). The horse has been runner-up in some decent Group Two races of late so will find this slight drop back in company to his favour.

3.10 – Dubai Dewhurst Stakes (Group 1) (Entire Colts & Fillies) Cl1 7f CH4

12/13 – Ran at least 3 times that season
12/13 – Yet to race at Newmarket (Rowley)

8/13 – Won a Group race previously
7/13 – Won by an Irish-based stable
6/13 – Winning distance – ½ length or less
5/13 – Priced 20/1 or bigger
5/13 – Placed horses from stall 2
5/13 – Favourites
5/13 – Trained by Jim Bolger
5/13 – Ridden by Kevin Manning
4/13 – Placed in the top 2 in the 2000 Guineas the following season
2/13 – Won the Epsom Derby the following season
0/13 – Winners from stall 1
The average winning SP in the last 10 years is 9/1

FREE HORSE RACING TIP:  This looks to rest between Godolphin’s Emotionless and AIR FORCE BLUE (Bet here at 11/10 with Paddy Power), with slight preference for the Aidan O’Brien-trained runner. This horse has already bagged two Group One races and holds a 2,000 Guineas entry for next season and with Ryan Moore booked looks slightly better value against the Godolphin runner.

DEWHURST STAKES OFFER – Emotionless to Place – 6/1

Just 2 winning favourites since 1993

FREE HORSE RACING TIP:  It goes without saying this is a tough race with 36 runners heading to post. There are, however, some key trends and stats that can life a bit easier and help you whittle down the field. Looking at trends like age, weight, draw and recent form quickly rules a lot of these runners out – the three that tick most of the stats are GAVLAR (Bet here at 33/1 with Boylesports) , WORDINESS (Bet here at 33/1 with 888Sport) and DEAUVILLE DANCER (Bet here at 25/1 with Betway). They are all decent e/w prices so in a race of this nature there is no harm in playing them all e/w against the field.

YORK HORSE RACING TIPS AND TRENDS (RUK/C4)

1.45 – TitanBet.co.uk Stakes (Handicap) Cl2 1m208y CH4

Only 4 previous runnings
Richard Fahey (2), John Gosden and Mark Johnston have won the race
4/4 – Unplaced in their last race
4/4 – Ran in the last 4 weeks
4/4 – Drawn in stall 7 or lower
3/4 – Carried 9-3 or more in weight
3/4 – Priced 7/2 or shorter in the betting
3/4 – Won 2 or 3 times before
3/4 – Rated between 93-98
2/4 – USA bred
2/4 – Winners from stall 4
2/4 – Trained by Richard Fahey
1/4 – Favourites
Mark Johnston is just 5 from 81 with his 3 year-olds at the track
William Haggas has a 19% record with his 3 year-olds at York

FREE HORSE RACING TIP:  Trainer Richard Fahey has won this race twice in the last 4 runnings so their two runners SPRING OFFENSIVE (Bet here at 12/1 with William Hill)  and INTIWIN (Bet here at 20/1 with Betfair) could be the two to focus on here. Both have a bit to prove based on recent outings but could be worth risking with the trainer’s good record in the contest.

2.15 – Download The Coral App Stakes (Handicap) Cl2 1m2f88y CH4

Just two previous running
Luca Cumani won the race in 2013
Charlie Appleby won the race in 2014
No winning favourite yet
Mark Johnston is just 3 from 75 with his older horses at the track
Andrew Balding is only 3 from 45 with his older horses here

FREE HORSE RACING TIP:  Trainer Mark Johnston doesn’t have the best of records with his older horses at the track so his Sennockian Star is overlooked. The Godolphin team took this in 2014 so this could be best left to their MEMORIAL DAY (Bet here at 2/1 with Bet365). The horse is yet to be out of the first two and is also a previous course winner.

2.50 – coral.co.uk Rockingham Stakes (Listed Race) Cl1 6f CH4

12/12– Raced within the last month
11/12 – Foaled in March or later
11/12 – Won between 1 and 3 times
10/12 – Priced 11/2 or shorter in the betting
10/12 – Won over 6f before
9/12 – Had 4 or more runs that season
9/12 – Winning distance – 1 ¼ lengths or more
9/12 – Never raced at York before
7/12 – Favourites placed
6/12 – Unplaced in their last race
6/12 – Raced at either Redcar (4) or Newbury (2) last time out
4/12 – Winners from stall 2
4/12 – Won their last race
4/12 – Favourites
3/12 – Filly winners
2/12 – Placed horses (both 2nd) from stall 1
2/12 – Trained by Tim Easterby
The average winning SP in the last 9 years is 9/2

FREE HORSE RACING TIP: Trainer Mark Johnston took this in 2011 and he looks to hold another good chance – this time with DELIZIA (Bet here at 8/1 with Betfred). This 2 ear-old was a fine third last Saturday in a Listed event at Redcar (2 year-old Trophy) and if running to that form again should be bang-there. Richard Fahey’s Donjuan Triumphant could be the next best having run some solid races this season too.

3.25 – Coral Sprint Trophy (Handicap) Cl2 6f CH4

12/12 – Raced within the last 4 weeks
12/13 – Won at least 3 races
11/12 – Ran 6 or more times that season
11/12 – Ran at York before
11/12 – Won a race over 6f before
8/12 – Carried 9-1 or less in weight
8/12 – Aged 5 or younger
8/12 – Returned a double-figure price in the betting
7/12 – Drawn in a double-figure stall
7/12 – Rated between 92 and 98
7/12 – Placed in the top 4 in their last race
7/12 – Winning distance – ¾ lengths or less
7/12 – Favourites unplaced
4/12 – Ran at Ascot last time out
3/12 – Won last time out
2/12 – Favourites
2/13 – Trained by Richard Fahey
2/12 – Trained by Michael Dods
1/13 – Filly or mare winners
The average winning SP in the last 9 runnings is 12/1

FREE HORSE RACING TIP: With 8 of the last 12 winners carrying 9-1 or less in weight then that actually narrows the field down to just the bottom six on the card. 5 year-olds or younger also have a great record so BLAINE (Bet here at 25/1 with Paddy Power), SHARED EQUITY (Bet here at 22/1 with Betway) & ECCLESTON (Bet here at 16/1 with WIlliam Hill) are the ones that stand out based on those stats.
