Aldershot v Lincoln – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Lincoln were one of the form teams in the National League, but it's all unravelled of late and it culminated in a bizarre 5-3 loss to Whitehawk in the FA Cup at the weekend. Matt Rhead scored a hattrick, but it wasn't enough to stop them being eliminated at the first stage of the prestigious competition. They looked flimsy in defence and if that continues here, they are bound to concede to Aldershot who have scored in each of their last 4 games and only twice since the 15th of August. Lincoln have scored in their last 4 away games and I think they should have enough firepower to find the net here, but they can't defend in such a calamitous manner otherwise they will be punished. Aldershot have conceded at least 1 goal in 78% of their home games and will be looking to make home advantage count. It should be quite a close match with both teams finding the net.

Southend v Bristol Rovers – Both Teams to Score? Yes

Both these sides were knocked out of the FA Cup at the weekend and will be looking for an instant response to that disappointment. Rovers were humbled by Chesham as they were one of the shocks of the weekend. They are usually so reliable on the road though and I think they will find a goal here, their last 3 away games finished 1-2, 1-2 and 3-4. They sit comfortably midtable, but Darrell Clarke is a good young manager who will have learnt from his mistakes and knows his side have to perform at Roots Hall. They've only failed to score once all season away from home and that was very early on against Leyton Orient. Southend haven't been able to find their best form recently, they started the season solidly enough without winning, but they seem to have opened up and it's causing them to concede goals. They lost away at Scunthorpe at the weekend in the cup and that comes off the back of two consecutive 2-2 draws. They also conceded 3 to Chesterfield, a side who had been poor before that. They've only kept 3 clean sheets all season, whith just 1 at home. I don't think this will be one to add to their collection.

Dagenham v Oxford – Oxford to score over 1.5 team goals

Michael Appleton was left incredibly disappointed that his conceded a late equaliser to Braintree and will require a replay to settle the tie. Dagenham are also facing a rematch after they drew 0-0 with Morecambe. Appleton will be forced to make a couple of changes here, with Callum O'Dowda away on International Duty and Johnny Mullins suspended. The former Blackburn manager insists that he is taking the competition seriously as he wants to make the Southern Section Semi Final. They beat Swindon in the last round and they should be up for this. They average 2 goals a game on the road and against a poor Daggers defence, they should be able to score a couple. They were involved in a bizarre recently in which they lost 2-3 to Barnet and they still have plenty of fire power in the shape of Danny Hylton and Kemar Roofe, despite the missing players.
