England v Honduras Betting Tips and Predictions

England wrap up their World Cup preparations with a friendly match against fellow World Cup participants Honduras at 21:45 on Saturday 7^th June and we have some free World Cup 2014 betting tips.

After a routine 3-0 friendly victory over Peru and an entertaining 2-2 draw against Ecaudor we are beginning to get a sense of the sort of team this England side is going to be at the World Cup.

Going forward England look lively in the final third with a group of tricky attacking midfielders/ forwards who could potentially unlock any defense. They also have plenty of pace to break quickly on the counter-attack especially if Steven Gerrard's patented 'Hollywood' balls get going.

Honduras meanwhile qualified through an easy World Cup qualifying process. In the fourth round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying Honduras finished above Panama, Jamaica and Mexico. The later of whom then beat New Zealand in a playoff to qualify. What I'm saying is that Honduras aren't a great side.

A point which was confirmed by their 4-2 defeat to Israel in their last match. Going into that match Israel hadn't won in 8 matches and after watching some extended  highlights I can safely say that Israel could have scored six or seven had they taken their chances. I feel confident that Honduras are not going to making an impression on the World Cup or pose England much of a challenge.

The odds reflect this. A Honduras victory is 15/2 with bet365, whilst a draw is available at 10/3 and an England win is at 2/5.

There is really very little in those odds to get that excited about. Honduras are probably one of the weaker sides in the competition and I suspect a near full strength England side will win comfortably.

As for goalscorers it's a bit tricky to predict who will score mainly because, it is hard to see who will start.
